When I first heard he referenced 9/11 in the context of organization, I just assumed he said something about the disorganization of the US at preventing the attacks at the time. That would have been a bad idea for a comparison, even if it were more or less true. But after hearing he actually used terrorist organization as an example, man... that's a really awful thing to bring up. He really should have known better.

lol McDermott - what an absolute dummy. I thought the timing of this story was weird but it looks like its a larger story about the team underperforming this season, his decision making, Dorsey being the scapegoat this season.

Books had more bets on the under than the actual pointspread.
30 was 1 of the lowest in the last 20 yrs which made me nervous so i put it in a 3 game 10 pt teaser.
So i moved it up to 40 & bet under along with sf-0.5 & mia-2.5.
Won that leg by 1 pt & i still have to win the other 2 legs but this is why some people win at betting & some lose.

& as was mentioned al & everyone knew TNF is the worst of the primetime packages cause they have to show almost every team + the big teams only get 1 appearance so he knew what he was getting into BUT he wants the $$.

Tomlin in a playoff race loses back to back home games both to 2-10 teams.
But hes a HOFer.

He's a good coach, not great. He has the numbers to back him up, plus the Steelers organization is well known for keeping their guys for decades.

lol overrated? these types of losses, trap games happen. yes they are struggling now but they are overperforming considering they don't have a fuggin quarterback. They are an adequate QB away from being in the mix. I still wouldn't write them off completely considering how there is no front runner in the AFC this season. I mean maybe BAL is the top team in the AFC but I am really not sold on anyone but that makes it exciting coming down the stretch.

Their preseason win total was 8.5 so he would have to go 2-2 to even finish just 0.5 above that.

looking at their last four games that is possible, they shouldn't overlook anyone considering where they are but on paper the biggest challenge looks like the finale in BAL

17 seasons as a head coach and never a sub .500 season. Players, fans and ownership love him. Gets the best of his roster and competes every year, last two seasons without Ben a testament to that. Like BLMN said, Steelers keep coaches for decades, in a league of one and done head coaches, him and the Steelers are a model for others, continuity.

Tomlin has an 8-9 post season record, that is all anyone cares about here.
No postseason wins since 2016.
Embarrassed in the playoffs 3 years in a row.
There is no way Kenny would have been drafted if he did not play at PITT.
