Mahomes Sr. was charged with his second DWI in 2018 and was sentenced to 40 days in jail. The third DWI offense is a third degree felony meaning he could spend a whopping 10 years in jail. Mahomes Sr. is being held on a $10,000 bond.

As it does every year, EA Sports has used this year's edition of Madden to predict the winner of Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. This coming Sunday, February 11, the Chiefs and 49ers will square off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The matchup itself will serve as a repeat of 2019's Super Bowl LIV which saw the Chiefs defeat the 49ers by a final score of 31-20. Despite the 49ers arguably being more talented now than they were back in 2019, Madden NFL 24 still has the Chiefs coming out on top.

Actually Jackson Mahomes was charged May of last year. You might be thinking of Reid's son (who was on the Chief's coaching staff) hitting a stranded car on the freeway and injuring a little girl. I think that was the Friday before the Chiefs were suppose to leave for the 2020 SB.

When they were adding the 2 playoff teams there was a suggestion still take 7 AFC & 7 NFC teams but then seed them 1-14 no matter the conference so you could theoretically get a same division SB.
