Also when kittle went out with the shoulder in ot and his replacement got the holding penality.
That also hurt the niners momentum in ot i though

Every time the Niners had the Chiefs on the ropes (many times in the closing moments), Mahomes pulled out a rabbit trick -- the way only a generational and transcendental talent could.

Will Mahomes have as long a career as Brady? That remains to be seen for a running QB who will have more wear and tear than a non-running one like Brady.

Still, worst case for Mahomes at this point is probably a career where he wins 4-5 Super Bowls and ends up widely regarded as the 2nd best players in NFL history. Barring serious injury, he has at minimum, another decade plus left as a top-tier QB.
He is more of a runner/scrambler than Brady ever was and has taken a lot of hard hits so far in his young career, he had that terrible ankle injury last year. Kelce is no spring chicken as well and will be in his mid 30's next season.

I saw an interview with Patrick the other day and he said he wants to win 7 Super Bowls, but he admitted that it is really hard to win in the NFL. I think he is great guy and very humble. He has no arrogance about him and is very well spoken. He's a great role model.

Honestly, do you really view Kelce as irreplaceable? Sure, having a top notch receiver or tight end is important, but I view them as replaceable parts. How many different guys did guys like Brady have to throw to over the years? Moss, Gronk, Edelman, Evans, etc... Every time, the Pats slid in some new guy who Brady made look all-world. I suspect that when Kelce hangs it up, KC will simply slide in some serviceable WR or TE, who Mahomes will likewise make look like an All-Pro, not skipping a beat.

I can't really blame the 49ers too much. They were dropping left and right with injuries and the game really turned on the flukey punt disaster where it was more a matter of wrong place/wrong time.

I don't mind Swift so much, but it's BOTH Kelce brothers in seemingly endless commercials and appearances that's worn me down.

Seemed like the Patriots replaced one short white receiver with another one year in and out. Kelce is one of the best ever at TE, I think he will be tough to replace, he is such a gamer. I'm sure he has a year or two left in him. I'm just glad that I won't have to see T Swift on my tv every Sunday until next September (that's if they are still together) I still find it almost mind boggling that those two are dating.

By the way, the SB post game show over the past few years is now like only 10 minutes long

Is Kelce under the impression that being obnoxious and arrogant is a likable character trait?

I thought it was pretty funny when he sang Viva Las Vegas during the post game show and Jim Nantz got a good laugh from it

Yeah both defenses showed up but Mahomes simply outplayed Brock Purdy and that's the difference in the end.

Outplayed? That game was a battle and equal in every way. The Chiefs scraped by with that win.

I think when you look at the offensive tools each QB was working with. I would agree. That being said, Brock had an impressive performance and will get paid

Everything seems less special and more transient these days. I remember back in the day when ESPN.com's front page would be completely taken over by a giant splash image of the newly-crowned championship team from one of the four major U.S. sports leagues.

Brock's going to get paid and I love it. Paying Hurts gutted the Eagles roster and paying Purdy will gut the 49ers roster. There's a reason most teams' windows close once the cheap QB contract ends.

They are going to have to hit on the lower rounds to keep it going. The Chiefs have some decisions to make going into next year as well… who are they going to pay (Sneed, Jones, Tranquil to name a couple). Thats what made the Patriots run so impressive.
