Not sure he's the upgrade over Justin Fields the team thinks he is. It's amazing in the long and storied history of their franchise, the Bears have never had a QB even as good as Tony Romo and Dak Prescott.

He definitely is an upgrade. Even if he's similar to Justin in year one and two it's a win because he'd still be under his rookie deal, where Justin is up for a contract after next year and the Steelers are going to have to pick up his 5th year option at over $20M.

We're that much closer to 2-handed touch, thankfully the ineptitude of the Dallas Cowboys since 1995 is making it easier for me to not be an avid fan.

Also the new kickoff rule passed !!

As expected the wk1 friday nite brazil game PHI v most likely CLE or GB will be peacock only (except for local markets obv).

The new kickoff rules are wild AF.

No surprise onside kicks; teams have to inform the refs beforehand and they line up in the traditional kicking rules.

No fair catches.

Kickers line up at the 35, but the kicking team players line up at the opposing 40. 9 players are in a setup zone and two players in a landing zone.

Nobody on either team (except the receiver) can move until the ball hits the ground or touches a receiver after being kicked.

Yup the ban of the hip drop tackle is stupid and this new kickoff rule is going to have be explained thoroughly before the season starts. Oh well, there's more to life than watching the Cowboys blow it every year.

Its funny i was always the one during the romo/dak days saying the cowboys werent going to win & i was called the bad cowboys fan.
Now im in the majority....to quote al michaels "Go figure".

Why ?? i was right & they were wrong.
Plus it's payed off bet $$ wise nicely over all these yrs.
Their win total came out last wk at 10.5 ive already bet under cause how can you not with that roster & tough schedule they play 10 projected playoff teams.
