he has said its been a lifelong dream, which I get but at the same time - that means you aware of the Madden Curse.
A lot of people have been pointing out that the curse had no effect on Mahomes... sure ok, but look at all the times when the curse was real. Even if it wasn't an injury, it would mean a down year for that player. Niners are loaded with talent but still, ugh!

24 - allen played all 17 & 5th in mvp voting
22 - mahomes played all 17 got to afc champ game / brady played all 17
21 - lamar played in 16
20 - mahomes won SB
19 - a.brown career high 15 tds
18 - brady lost SB

Most players would kill for those resumes.

yes I have seen that but the curse is a curse for a reason, negatives outweigh the positives.
again, you don't have to necessarily be injured or miss significant time, but could be a down year.

Lamar played in 15 games that year. Madden 21 came out in 2020. Lol at most players would kill to play 16 games….more than half the league does this every season without the Madden cover. You’re reaching on this one.

If you said to most players that over a 6 yr span they would:
win a SB
play in another
play in a champ game
play almost every game
Yes i think most would take that in a sec.

& the point was 0 of them really got hurt which was what the curse was about
though now that thats not happening youre the ones reaching to other things.

Two players that you mentioned, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have yet to do all of the above. And we’re talking about a single season, not a 6 yr span. Not sure what you’re getting at. Not only are you reaching, you’re moving the goal posts now

Lamar Jackson suffered a knee injury but played through it so technically it’s not zero.
* Antonio Brown suffered an injury too

I said resume thats what those players accomplished.
If madden started in 2018 & you said today "Oh theres a madden curse look what bad things happened to all those players" the men in white coats would put you in a net & take you to a padded room.

"Madden 2007:" Shaun Alexander missed six games that year and only played in two more seasons after that.
"Madden 2010:" Troy Polamalu missed 11 games due to injury.
"Madden 2012:" Peyton Hills missed six games due to injury.
"Madden 2017:" Rob Gronkowski only played in eight games due to injury.

It is easy to see why it was labeled a curse, from its inception till 2010 it was as real as F imo.

Yeah, it went for 86 years, and it was about as real as it gets. My father woke me up as a 9 year old kid to watch the red sox win the world series. Check that to watch the Red Sox blow the lead and then give up the game on the ball getting by Buckner! I instead learned a few choice swear words instead that night...

It did make 2004 all the more sweeter though, for those fans still waiting on their teams, don't give up hope!

Actually, today using billions of dollars in tax resources for a stadium like this is far better use of our tax dollars then what many other states are wasting their money on today. This brings in people who spend money, gives thousands of people jobs and improves the actual city it is in.
