I was watching that CHI-DET game in between doing other things and sat down to watch those last two minutes and holy sh-t was a cluster. Due to others misusing timeouts im pretty sure they wont accept it from another coach just headcoach same with challenge.

Under Rule 5, Article 1, only head coaches and players in the game can call a timeout. Assistant coaches — like Spagnuolo — cannot. However, if an assistant coach calls for a timeout and an official, hearing that call, grants the timeout “inadvertently,” then the timeout will stand.

I didn't mean another coach to actually verbally call it but another coach in his headset being aware and letting him know to call it. Its just crazy that no one alerted him, or Caleb wasn't aware and signal for it himself. Just all-around buffoonery.

The Detroit Lions will be without linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez for the rest of the 2024 season and perhaps into the 2025 campaign as well. Rodriguez suffered a torn ACL in the Lions' Thanksgiving win over the Chicago Bears.

Wasn’t expecting the 49ers to win tonight, but now it looks like it’s going to be another blowout. Too many injuries to key players to overcome. It’s amazing how far the OL drops off when Trent Williams doesn’t play.
