Anzalone confirmed in on a snap count against Vikings

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Lions LB Alex Anzalone (forearm) will play in Week 18 against the Vikings.

Anzalone was activated from injured reserve over the weekend. He landed on IR after suffering a fractured forearm in Week 11. Per Rapoport, the Lions will monitor his snaps tonight and he will play with a special pad designed to protect his arm. Getting Anzalone back is a step in the right direction for a Detroit defense that has been plagued by injuries this season.

Of the Wild Card teams, plus Houston...they stand out as having the most potential....I would agree with you there.

The play that stood out was the Steelers not getting that first down with 2 (?) yards to go before halftime. That series of plays (potentially=Steelers would still need to get into FG range) was a 6 pt swing, in a two point game.

With all of my Chiefs expected not to play, I’d be surprised if Wentz led team can beat the Broncos. That’s not a slam on Carson but I don’t think he’ll have the weapons.

You combine many backups playing with a fairly vanilla playbook on both sides of the ball, I don’t expect much against a talented Broncos team.

So I don’t see Bengals making it. If Tua plays today for Miami, I would hope they could beat the Jets.

Did the Chiefs actually make it to Denver? I saw the KC airport shutdown do to freezing ice and the Chiefs weren't allowed to fly out yesterday. You'd think the Chiefs front office saw this coming last week and would have had the team leave Friday.

I wonder if KC threw this game vs Denver just to keep the Benglas out of the playoffs? Also, I love those old school Denver uniforms. The Broncos vs the Bills should be a very good playoff game.

lol at Kraft - prior to the start of the season he said he knew Mayo was the next HC years ago. I am guessing he wants Vrabel, obviously Vrabel is going to have a soft spot for NE but hopefully someone else swoops in and grabs him.
