I couldn’t believe the refs sacked Stroud 8 times and were able to pressure him more than 50% when dropping back. Don’t get me started on the Refs impact on the Texans Special teams play.

I certainly wasn't expected this. I'm in shock. Too many turnovers by the Lions obviously, but give some credit to the Redskin secondary for getting those picks. Over 1000 yards of total offense, Wow. Go Skins!

Washington has already won as many playoff games this season as they did during 24 years of Dan Snyder ownership.

Called it.

I don’t care what “experts” have to say. I don’t care who they pick. I don’t care what the odds are. It’s why they play the game.

I knew by recent trends that this team was dangerous. I also knew we would have no defense.

Also, no one should be interviewing with other teams until the season is over.

I knew WAS could have a chance in a shootout because those games are pass heavy and the Redskins have a good pass defense. Also I knew that Daniels could handle the pressure. But I still figured we would lose because Detroit is just too good. We were fortunate that Detroit had so many injured players on defense as well.

Of course, but Washington played much better and the Lions made a ridiculous ton of incredibly stupid turnovers. Lions fans must be risked pissed at Goff today

They changed to 14 teams (from 12) in 2020 to make the number 1 seed more important (cause they got the bye)..why? So the final games of the season were more meaningful (had the #1 seed on the line). The Chiefs this season was an exception, since they were able to sit their starters in the final game. BUT, how did the Chiefs get to that point? They had to beat 3 teams in 11 days. 2 or the 3 opponents were playoff teams. Was that too easy?

So you are proposing they expand the playoff teams to 15? What would you do (if anything) to the expansion of more reg season games? Would you had another bye week towards the end of the season? Reason I ask if the benefit to the number 1 seed is the bye (and time to heal).

"Way too easy" seems like you haven't put much thought into you comment. The teams that make the divisional round are the best 8 teams (and sometimes the hottest) in the NFL. ....Just ask the Lions.

Man did I mush the Lions or what, JD the real deal, this is a rookie doing this and with a team that stunk last season! Most impressive rookie QB season I think I have ever seen watching this sport.

I also want to state again THANK FN'ING GOD the Patriots were LUCKY, yes pure luck, that the best coach available this off season wanted to be their coach. Give me a break with these super offensive coordinators, seeing Ben Johnson dial up some horse$#$# WR pass in the last quarter when your down. No don't have your quarterback make that pass, have a WR who has maybe tossed it a handful of times in a practice setting. Good luck to any team that signs him, without that offensive line and running back room, he will be mid's at best as a head coach imo.

If the Chiefs play the same game from last night against the Bills or Ravens, they will lose. The Chiefs OL and DL struggled for most of the game to create gaps for Pops/Hunt and stop the Texans run.

If the Chiefs can't get the run going early and get Dhop, Hollywood and/or JuJu involved in the offense, they won't be able to keep up with either Bills/Ravens offense.

On the defense, stopping the run and keeping either QB in the pocket will be important. I don't remember Bolton having such little impact as in last night's game. Bolton will need to spy the QB's and help contain whatever runner coming his way.

Reid, Nagy and Spags will really need to look at last night's film and decide if that's the Chiefs that will be playing next week or the end of the season Chiefs?

Even as a home game (and depending on tonight's performances), I wouldn't be surprised if the Chiefs a slight dogs at home.

To be fair that is kind of who they have been all season long imo.. Against the wrong team it is eventually going to hit the wall.

The kind of remind me of the 2005 Patriots who had Rache Caldwell as their top wide out and came within 2 quarters of a Superbowl.

100% agree. I thought they stepped up their game on both sides against the Texans and Steelers during the final two games of the reg season (when the starters played).

Though I poo poo'd the idea of rust after not playing the starters since Christmas, I think it did (or maybe hope) negatively impacted the game last night.

Without getting into the weeds, the Ravens and Bills have improved since the Chiefs last played them. The Chiefs will need to match that next week. I know they have it in them (esp since they are pretty healthy), but if pressed right now....I think either opponent is playing better than my Chiefs at this time. We obviously have the ceiling beat either team, it will come down to the big boys on both sides of the ball (but doesn't it always )
