Every penalty should be able to be overturned under the replay assistance rule. I’m not going to get into rigged games or favorable teams, but bad calls do happen and they affect the outcome. No excuse for it anymore now that there are eyes on the game from New York, with better views than the onfield officiating crew in some instances.

Hey El Rey, do you think the 49ers and Brock agree to an extension in a timely manner, or this turns into another hold out that drags on through preseason? I’ve read reports (I’m sure you have too) where it could be anywhere between 50 and 60 mil (one report has Brock resetting the QB market). I kind of hope it’s under those amounts….40 to 45 mil range would be ideal. He’s young enough to still get that big extension down the road. I’ve also read where Brock is not necessarily looking to be the highest paid (or one of the) QBs in the league but just wants to be “fairly” compensated for his worth. I guess we’re going to find out, hopefully sooner than later.

Also, the rumors that the 49ers are going to be one of the more aggressive teams this offseason as far as free agents is a good sign if true. It’s going to be interesting leading up to next season, that’s for sure.

MY PREDICTION. CHIEFS 28 - EAGLES 24 I think Spags finds away to stop RB Barkley. And Mahomes does enough to win again. As most experts have said the past couple of weeks, the Eagles have the better team, but they just can't go against Mahomes. The 3 Peat is Inevitable. CHIEFS!!! CHIEFS!!! CHIEFS...CHIEFS...CHIEFS...CHIEFS!!!

Eagles on paper should win. Mahomes and Reid (and Spags) help to bring it closer to a pick'em game. IMHO, it will be the Special Teams play that will give the Chiefs the edge.

During the playoffs and Super Bowls, it seems like the Chiefs have a long kick or punt return to shorten the field. Timing and the offensive production may determine how impactful that play is..

The Chiefs (Leo Chanel) have had two block kicks this season to prevent points on the board. This is not likely to happen....but, both Justin Reed coming off the edge with Leo and cast stretching for the block MAY have an impact on the Eagles kicker (who has not been very consistent on long FG). Or, that specter of the Chiefs may just get in his head. Again, this is less likely to have impact, but you never know.

Obviously, Butker over his career has had plenty of game winning and tying kicks. He was injured this year. The first couple of games back was not himself. But, that appears to be behind him. I'll take Butker over the Eagles Jake Elliot in any high pressure or long kicks for the difference in a winning the Super Bowl.
