I'd rather watch Jameis than Russell for the Giants.

Oh you will, as Russ is either benched or injured.

I know the end of the season in PIT dampened things a bit but prior to that Russ showed there was still a little left in the tank but I really don't see anything standing out on the Giants roster which leads me to believe he will have similar success.

Seen a rumor going round that the Cowboys are trying to move Dak and other assets to the Browns, so they can get the #2 and draft Sanders....

If this is even remotely true the Browns clearly have not learned a hard enough lesson i guess.

Per PFT:
"As it stands, Prescott as a cap number of $52.974 million for 2025. (He also has a no-trade clause.)
If the Cowboys trade Prescott before June 1, another $97.356 million would hit the cap in 2025.
That would push the total cap charge to $150.33 million."

Good luck with all that.

NFL owners approved a rule change allowing both teams to possess the ball in overtime during the regular season. That will match the postseason rule, with sudden death deciding the game if it remains tied after each team has a possession.

Regular-season overtime, though, will remain a maximum of 10 minutes with the game declared a tie after that.

The NFL’s replay assist system will cover more plays during the 2025 season.

League owners approved a proposal to expand the use of replay assist in a vote at the league meetings in Palm Beach on Tuesday. The proposal called for adding fouls for hits on a defenseless player, grabbing the facemask, performing a horse-collar tackle, tripping, and running into or roughing the kicker to be covered by the process.

Replay assist will now be able to be used to pick up flags thrown for those infractions as long as there is clear evidence on video that on-field officials erred by calling the penalties.

The change does not allow for flags to be thrown, so similarly clear evidence of an uncalled facemask or horse-collar tackle will not result in a penalty.

In other news, owners on Tuesday:

Approved a proposal from the Philadelphia Eagles to give each team a guaranteed possession in overtime during the regular season. Previously, a team with the first possession could win in overtime if it scored a touchdown. This rule change aligns the philosophy with a previous change to postseason overtime, except regular-season overtime will remain limited to 10 minutes.

Endorsed the competition committee's request to add additional specifics on prohibited actions that would violate the league's unsportsmanlike rules, including: a throat slash gesture, simulating firing or brandishing a gun, or displaying the "nose wipe" gesture.

Approved a proposal from the Pittsburgh Steelers to have one video or phone call with no more than five prospective free agents during the negotiation period before the formal opening of free agency. Previously, teams could speak only with the agent of the player during that period.

Approved a request from multiple teams to allow team staff members to prepare K-balls, footballs used only on special teams, before game day.

Approved proposals by the competition committee allowing two players to be designated to return from injured reserve if they are placed on IR when rosters are reduced to 53, granting playoff teams two more return-from-IR spots in the postseason and designating point differential as the third tiebreaker on waiver claims.

Tabled for further discussion the Detroit Lions' proposal to make playoff seeding based on regular-season records as the guiding principle, rather than division championships.

Did not approve Detroit's proposal to eliminate an automatic first down as a penalty imposed for defensive holding and illegal contact.

Announced the use of Sony's Hawk-Eye technology to measure first downs in 2025.

Well Patriots imo traded away a nice chip for nothing essentially, personally i think Milton might be the next QB for Dallas, i think he pushes Dak right away. Everyone wants to talk about how his game was against the Buffalo scrubs ignoring the cannon arm that was dead accurate in that game and his ability to make a play happen.

It's why you see a train of ex NFL players many hall of fame players that were impressed with him, even though it was against 2's and 3's because many of those passes if you go back and look at the tape would've easily beaten the starters for the Bills imo too!

Oh well, i still can't wrap my head around why they moved him for nothing when you have teams right now without even a legit backup, never mind a starter! The excuse of wanting to clear the deck for Maye makes me now think less of Maye! And yeah I'm going to go ahead and say it, his one game last year impressed me more then anyone thing i seen out of Maye! I get that it is an unfair comparison but now hearing that Maye potentially wanted him out of the room makes this trade feel even worse!

Your welcome Dallas fans, imo you just got the next possible Lamar Jackson except with a stronger arm and a larger body frame! For my fandoms sake i hope i am completely wrong!!!!
