A co-worker today said that every hotel in Green Bay, Madison and Milwaukee are sold out for the NFL Draft this weekend.

Just a year ago I was at the draft in Detroit. Now that was one of the best drafts.

I'm bummed out with taking a tackle that might be a guard at 4, I understand the pick but rather of taken the skill spot and Jeanty who I think is going to be rookie of the year.

Browns I think nailed that trade, moved down got a haul and still picked imo who they wanted all along. Giants also get a top grade drafting the best overall player in the draft and getting the QB they wanted.

Well, that stinks. Apparently, she'd undergone a LOT of health issues, including several brain surgeries even before her stroke. Tougher than I am, for sure.

Derrick Harmon's mother died after Steelers drafted her son

Tiffany Saine, the mother of Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Derrick Harmon, died Thursday night shortly after her son was selected No. 21 in the NFL draft.

Saine, who suffered a stroke in 2022 that left her paralyzed on her left side, was on life support in the hospital while Harmon learned of his NFL future surrounded by the rest of his family in his hometown of Detroit.

Kinda surprised. I never bought him as a top-10 or 15 pick where a lot of people had him until recently, but I easily think he's no worse than an early-2nd round pick. Getting him in the 3rd round would be a steal. I'd love to see the Jags get him in the 3rd round. Definitely not sold on Trevor Lawrence being a long-term solution, and frankly, I already consider him a total bust.

I know! I was like “do they really want to run with a washed Rodgers next year?” Then when the Rams were on the clock in the 3rd, I was like “surely the Rams won’t let such a bonafide successor for Stafford slip to day 3, right?…Right?” and was once again mindfcked when they did.

He must have really turned off potential teams with his interview, I find it hard to believe that his father could cause him not to be drafted for teams not wanting the headache.

And this Patriots draft is really such a change from the normal. Best LT on the board, best Center on the board, a burner WR who looks like he could stick and a running back that may block as good as the linemen they drafted and has take it to the house speed.

Several rumors had stated the weekend of his interviews at the combine he was arrogant and cocky. Combine this with the draft process where Deon wouldn't shut up, as well as the personal issues with his bankruptcy and lawsuit it's easy to see why teams are passing on him.

This isn't a Brady situation the Browns, Giants, Vegas, Titans and Steelers all passed on him. All but 1 did it multiple times. Even the Rams ignored him as a replacement for Stafford years down the road.

I don't care what the "experts" like Steven a Smith think. Think this is more than just being about talent. This is about teamwork and attitude.
