Cant believe the Ravens lost last night but thats the way it is in the NFL. You never know whats going to happen from week to week. I heard the Feagles can STILL make the playoffs! Are you kidding me? But like I said anything can happen. I cant wait to hear what Skip Bayless says this morning on First And 10 about his boy Tebow and the Broncos losing. That will be good.

It's actually a real possibility that the Eagles could make the playoffs. What has to happen is the Eagles win at Dallas and against the Redskins and the Giants would have to lose Saturday at the Jets and then beat the Cowboys in week 17. In that scenario there would be a 3-way division tie at 8-8 and the Eagles would win the tiebreaker with the best division record. I wouldn't bet on all that happening but it certainly could happen.

I hope the Giants win next week just to prevent the Eagles from bizarro-ing their way into the playoffs again, like they did a couple years ago when they could only get in if like 6 separate games went their way, and all 6 did.

That was a heckuva game Navster. CJ is just so good, he grabs almost everything Stafford throws his way.

Really happy for the Lions. They're going to need the 2-game lead in the wildcard though -- they have the surging Chargers and the Packers left. I think it's realistic that they'll lose both, then come down to a tiebreaker with the other 9-7 teams (if any).

The Patriots-Broncos game got a 19.5 overnight rating, which is the best TV overnight rating of the season and CBS' highest rating since the undefeated Colts played the undefeated Patriots in November 2007. It's understandable why NBC and CBS both fought so hard for the game.

I'm sure it would have been higher on NBC

Surprised the ratings were that high but I guess I wasn't the only one that wanted to watch Tebow lose. Hoping the 49ers lose tonight, have a bet with a co-worker going on that game.

I wish the game would have been televised so I could watch the Donkeys lose

And I hope you lose your bet.... I'd root for the Jerry Sandusky legal-defense-team before I'd root for Pittsburgh.

Well I do hate the Squealers quite a bit, not really ROOTING for them to win, more rooting for more cash to find its way into my wallet. I actually hate the Steelers more than the 49ers but that may have to do with the fact that if it weren'f for the Steelers there'd be more Cowboys in the HOF, not to mention their QB likes to rape little girls.

Doubt it.

The 4:15 window usually get the highest ratings.

Of the top 20 games this year 13 were at 4:15 while only 5 were on SNF.

If the steelers win tonight we could be headed for a lions/49ers wildcard game.

Harbaugh/Schwartz II -- this time its personal.

I honestly think Seattle might beat San Francisco, hilarious for them to finish 11-5 after starting 9-1 and everyone was saying they might steal the #1 seed. Green Bay could lose out and San Francisco could win out and Green Bay would still be the #1 seed, Alex Smith is just a liability. I still LOL at the people that say he should get the comeback player of the year award. Give it to Laurent Robinson!

Marshawn Lynch is a beast. I still think the 49ers are overrated.

It's worth pointing out that neither the Jets nor Bengals control their own destiny. If both teams win out it would go to a strength of victory tiebreaker, and while that tiebreaker currently goes to the Jets it is by a narrow margin and that could change over the last 2 weeks, so fans of those 2 teams should be cheering for teams they've beat for the remainder of the season.

Grain of salt but i read that....

taking away the common win games between the jets & bengals that cancel each other out the bengals win teams need to go 9-5 while the jets win teams just need to go 8-9 so it looks good for jets to hold on to that tiebreaker.

Run defense is amazing but pass defense is a sieve, it's not like they took a magic pill in the off-season and are now suddenly a lot better. Would I rather have Harbaugh than Garrett? Of course. Do I think he's made San Francisco into a true contender? Nope. Will be interesting to see how he handles the next draft though.

lol NFC East still open for Eagles

The Cowboys got curb stomped by the Eagles earlier
and I think the Jets will beat the Giants

final week Giants beat Cowboys and Eagles take care of deadskins, Eagles win division

and AFC West is wide open, even the CHIEFS can get in? uh

so...which game do you think will be flexed to week 17 Sunday Night?

my guess is

Tebow vs. Orton
or
Chargers vs. Raiders
or
Deadskins vs. Eagles (win and they're in type of deal)

It's very rare for NFC East sweeps though, even in years when one team is really good and the other is really bad. I mean that year the Redskins won the Super Bowl in 1989 and we went 1-15 our only win came against them. I like our chances against the Giants more than Iggles simply because of match-ups but I don't truly have a good feeling about either game. Hopefully the Cowboys will give me an early Christmas present and beat Philly.

Yeah the Eagles are the most difficult to place. Some games they look like they can beat anyone and then other games they look like they could lose to the Colts.
