Terry Bradshaw is considered an all-time great an his career QB rating was 70.9. In 2011 we have 30 of 34 qualified QB's with a rating higher than that. Here's a stat you might find interesting, though. In 1984, Dan Marino's average passing yards/game was 90 yards above the league average. This season, even though the league average is higher, Drew Brees has managed to surpass it by 98 yards/game.

Miami Dolphins’ Jason Taylor will play his final game Sunday against Jets

It’s unknown if Taylor plans to announce his intentions to walk away from the NFL prior to Sunday.

Jason Taylor has collected more sacks than any player in Dolphins history and is sixth all-time among NFL sack leaders. His 139 1/2 career sacks put him behind only Bruce Smith, Reggie White, Kevin Greene, Chris Doleman and Michael Strahan.

Taylor will leave the game as a future Hall of Fame candidate. Aside from his high sacks total, he was the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He was a Pro Bowl selection six times. He returned six fumbles for touchdowns, which is the most in NFL history. And he added three interception returns for scores.

As a Patriots fan I'd like to see that happen. Even though the Patriots didn't have much trouble with the Jets in either regular season game the thought of a third matchup scares me, especially after last year's playoff defeat. The Jets need a lot of help though, as Cincinnati (vs. Baltimore), Tennessee (at Houston), and either Oakland (vs. San Diego) or Denver (vs. Kansas City) have to lose. I think there's a good chance that both the #5 seed (Pittsburgh or Baltimore) and the #6 seed (whoever it is) wins in the wild card round because I don't trust Houston or the AFC West representative at all.

Kyle Orton could be the most hated guy in Denver (if he wins)

You say that like Dave Rayner is any good...not sure why that guy keeps getting more chances in the NFL when he's such an epic failure.

His accuracy is so inconsistent. A real shame too considering his leg strength. I just can't wait until next year when we have Lindell healthy again, he's such a good kicker.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier hinted Wednesday that LG Steve Hutchinson will contemplate retirement this offseason.
Hutchinson's 2011 season was ended by a concussion, from which he did not recover quickly. "I’m hoping that things will get better soon for him with the concussions for sure," said Frazier. "That’s something that I’m sure he and his family will discuss, what his future is and how much longer he wants to play pro football." Hutchinson, 34, has been to seven Pro Bowls.

Wilk, Bradshaw played in a "run/run/pass/punt" era and only had 7 career 300 yard passing games (3 of which were in the Super Bowl). As much as I can't stand the guy (Browns fan), I must agree with you. He was tough, had an absolute canon for an arm, and won 4 Super Bowls. Now I feel
