Those were Kolb's "amazing" numbers that scored him a massive contract in Arizona. So by comparison ya, I'd have more faith in giving Flynn a big deal.

Two wrongs don't make a right although Flynn looks like the real deal. Still only two starts though. Matt Cassel at least earned his contract with a full season of good work.

Colts secured the #1 pick with a loss and Manning may return to boot. They're set for the next decade.

I totally agree with that ASSUMING we are going to keep trying to transition into a passing team. I would much rather be a ground pound team with a suffocating defense that just uses short passes and power run to compliment each other.

They won the Bowl with Dilfer, I think if we keep getting better under Chuck Pagano as defensive coordinator we won't need a QB. Though I do like Torrey Smith and Anquan Boldin doing what they do to help open lanes for Ray Rice.

Trade Romo and the Cowboys will be 4-12 next year. Romo is the only thing propping this Dallas team up. He's never had a good offensive line or a good defense. The only reason Romo is in a position to choke games away is his own skill. He has no margin for error whatsoever.

People call Romo overrated, but at this point I'm convinced he is the most under-rated player in the entire NFL.

No way Eli chokes more than Romo. Look at the Detroit game. With the lead he throws back to back Pick 6's. Then the next time he gets it another INT which was almost a Pick 6.

If you look at Eli "chokes" (especially last year) you'll see he had A LOT of tipped and dropped passes which cost them big.

As for this Matt Flynn bandwaggoning..... he's not THAT good. GB is built like NE and NO, they throw A LOT and have all their talent in WR's and TE. Look at Matt Cassel, he was supposed to be Brady 2.0 after that season as a starter. Went to KC with much less talent and it showed his real skill. Same thing with Flynn, he'll dominate as a Packer starter, but as a starter in somewhere like Jax or WAS he will fall hard.

Todd Haley being a terrible head coach plays apart in that as well.

Romo has a ton of tipped and dropped passes too. You choose not to see them. One of Romo's famous "chokes" is when Witten accidentally kicked a ball that a Giants player caught. I'm sure that's 100% Romo's fault, right?

The Detroit game is a perfect example, he threw a slant pass that was intercepted, because his receiver f'ed up. If any other QB in the league threw that he wouldn't get the blame, the receiver would. But it's Romo.

I personally believe that Troy Aikman, on this team, would have the reputation as a choker because he wouldn't have any rings either.

How many rings does Eli manning have with this Cowboys team? How many does Big Ben have? Hell, Tom Brady hasn't won a ring since he lost his defense, how many rings do you think he would have with this Dallas seive defense?

People hate Romo because it's the Cowboys, and people hate the Cowboys.

And FWIW, Eli has monumentally more turnovers than Romo does. Trying to claim that's all "tipped passes" and "dropped balls" is hilarious.

I personally hate Tom Brady, but I still believe he is the best (if not tied for it with Peyton Manning) QB in football. Bress is up there as well, just a little bit behind.

But I do believe that their systems do pad their stats quite a bit. Both teams are very heavily favorable towards their offenses. Look at the Pats defense, it's a mess.
