Maybe I'm not giving Denver enough credit, but I actually think Pittsburgh with Charlie Batch under the helm would still beat Denver. Even with the people sitting out.

Expecting Big Ben, bad ankle and all, to show Teblow how big white QBs are supposed to play
New York is actually more talented than they were in 2007, difference is the NFC has improved a lot in the last 4 years, still see them beating Atlanta at home.
I agree with everything you just said. The toughest pick for me was the Cin/Hou game because of Yates bad shoulder (Delhomme waiting in the wings). A healthy Texans squad walks in this one, but they're far from healthy and lost to Indy.

If the Broncos win it'll be a 7-3 type of score where the Denver defense wins the game for them, not Tebow. If Tebow accounts for more than 1 TD I'd be shocked. But as usual, if the defense carries Denver to a win Tebow will get all the credit for the win, despite multiple turnovers and something like 5-16 passing.

It's the opposite side of the spectrum for guys like Tony Romo, who get all the blame when we lose and only a little credit when we win. To be honest if he wants that to change Dallas needs to start winning after November, hopefully the draft will help us out.

You're the first to take Atlanta, and that surprises me. I thought that game would be a split amongst the picks. Never know which Giants squad will show up.

Romo is a good QB. At what point does the rest of the team and coaching staff start absorbing the blame...I'll tell you when...Never. This team has a National following (unlike any other) and at the heart of it will always be their QB. "Dandy Don", Roger Staubach and Troy Aikmen have all led them to the Championship game. Until they go there with Romo under centre, he'll catch most of the heat. Too bad as he's a likeable player but it is what it is.

He gets a little too much blame, but most of it is deserved with Romo. The guy has had some solid teams and played like crap in 3 of 4 playoff games he's been in, with a 1-3 record. Worst was 2007 where they had no business losing at home to the Giants.

I don't think they win, I think they win easily. I can't believe how many idiots I hear calling in on the radio comparing this Giants team to the 2007 team. Even if the Giants do somehow beat Atlanta they'll get smashed @ Green Bay the following week.

Are you serious? Anyone comparing this squad to the '07 Championship Team, is an imbecile. They were 9-7 this year and lucky to get in. They will get pasted at Lambeau if they beat Atlanta.

Yes, I'm completely serious. One caller even mentioned the fact that the 2007 Giants eliminated the Packers by beating them @ Green Bay in the NFC title game. I LOL'ed when I heard that. This year's Packers have almost nothing in common with the 2007 Packers. This year's Packers team is vastly superior to that Favre led team and the Giants aren't as good.

If I remember correctly, weren't the Giants supposed to get smashed by the Patriots in the Super Bowl? We all know how that turned out

Just saying, in the NFL anything can happen

Ya, at a neutral site. Good luck beating Rodgers and this 15-1 Packers team @ Lambeau in the snow. Beating a team like the 2007 Pats or 2011 is more of a Super Bowl possibility than in earlier rounds due to home field advantage.

Anyone think with the stellar defenses we have in the playoffs (Ravens, Steelers, 49ers, and to a lesser extent Giants and Broncos) we might actually see the Super Bowl MVP award come back to the defensive side? The last one was Dexter Jackson (Safety) of the Buccaneers back in 2003. And before that Ray Lewis (Linebacker) in 2001. Since 1987 there have only been 3 defensive players with the award!

Very unlikely when the odds are that Green Bay is going to be playing in the Super Bowl with their arsenal of offensive weapons.
