In order for the 49ers to make the Super Bowl, they're most likely gonna have to beat Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers in consecutive weeks. I just don't see that happening. The 49ers better hope the Lions take out the Saints or something.

Happy that McDaniels is reportedly returning to New England. He got along great with Brady and the team didn't have anyone on their staff that had the experience to become OC.

On to Tebow, I kind of feel like it's hard to judge him as a QB because the Broncos have by far the worst receiving corp in the NFL. Most of their receivers wouldn't even play for any of the other playoff teams. Eric Decker isn't bad but is nowhere near a #1 receiver. Demaryius Thomas has a ton of potential but often disappears in games. Trading Brandon Lloyd for a fifth round pick was absolutely idiotic. When they traded him they were 1-3 and clearly they didn't believe they had a shot at the playoffs. I am by no means saying I think Tebow is a good passing QB, just that few QBs could succeed on that team.

Free agent LaDanian Tomlinson acknowledged Friday that he is considering retiring this offseason.
"I am contemplating retirement," said Tomlinson, 32. "That's what I told my coaches and told my agent and everybody. ... This is the first time in my playing career that I've actually honestly thought about this may be it for me." Tomlinson said he'd be open to return, but conceded that it's possible no teams will want him. The Jets want to get younger in the backfield.

He did not play like crap in those games, that's just the reputation he got because the Cowboys lost the games.

Those "solid" teams were highly overrated. None of them had an offensive line or a defense worth speaking of. Same as today's Cowboys.

"Multiple sources" tell Profootballtalk.com the Broncos are prepared to bench Tim Tebow if he struggles against the Steelers in Sunday's Wild Card game.
The Broncos reportedly "have a package for (backup Brady) Quinn to be used in second-and-long or third-and-long situations." It would be incorrect to say coach John Fox has lost faith in Tebow since he hasn't had faith in him from the beginning, but it's clear Tebow's turnover-marred performances during Denver's recent three-game losing streak have Fox ready to turn to Quinn, who has not taken a regular-season snap since 2009. Tebow will be facing perhaps his most difficult test of the season in a Steelers defense ranked first against the pass and eighth against the run.

Detroit over New Orleans (Lions are a better team than the 2010 Seahawks Saints are unbeatable at home though)

Atlanta over NYG (Ryan, Jones, White and Turner will rule)

Houston over Cincinnati (not even close)

Pittsburgh over Denver (no comment )

Saints over Lions

Falcons over Giants

Texans over Bengals

Steelers over Broncos

The Brandon Lloyd trade was made to set Tebow up to fail. They should've got a 4th rounder at least for a guy who led the league in receiving last year. Even with the poor QB play and team hopping, Lloyd almost had another thousand yard season (966).

You know your franchise history is not that good when you get THAT excited about just making the play-offs.

Well the Texan's haven't even been around for 10 years yet and they've been in Manning's shadow the whole time.

Wade can know what it's like to take back to back Texas NFL teams to the post-season and get a loss in his first play-off game, I guess.

And as usual in Canada, we get SIMSUBBEd by CTV over the NBC feeds.
