NFLPA can kiss my hairy butt.

Sounds like this could drag on into August.

Ya... I'm looking at Twitter posts from a lot of high profile NFL players and all of them are trashingthe owner-approved deal. This isn't ending for awhile it looks like.

Looks like NCAAF is going to get a lot more popular this year.

All the NFL is doing is alienating itself from the fans. If 2,000 people (roughly) cant agree on how to share $10 BILLION dollars a year while most people can barely afford to survive then they really need a reality check.

No fans = No money. And I for one am not interested in half a season. Get it together NFL!!!!! BEFORE the season starts or this whole year will be a bust and a lot of people will be pissed off. At this point I'd rather see them not get a season and force all the player to get no money and live a year like that, same goes for the owners and making their stadium payments without free revenue.

Let these greedy bastards (both sides) feel how bad the economy is for the rest of us.

I am extremely pissed off right now. Every single person, owner or player, is seriously coming off as a spoiled rotten brats.

I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and it sounds like the players cooled down some last night and the CBA could be approved today. It sounds like there was a lot of misinformation going around last night and players were blasting the new CBA based purely on hearsay and without any facts to back up their anger. They had just heard it was bad so they went on Twitter and blasted it. For the third straight day ESPN is reporting that the CBA will be voted on today, so we'll see if they are right this time. Once a vote happens most people believe it will get approved as long as De Smith endorses it.

Kirk Morrison of the Jaguars said on the Dan Patrick Show that he does not believe there will be a CBA vote today. DeMaurice Smith will be at Robert Kraft's wife's funeral today and Morrison doesn't believe the players will have enough time to review the owner's proposed CBA. If a vote does happen Morrison said it wouldn't be until tonight.

The owners gave the NFLPA a deadline for Tuesday, my question is the Tuesday deadline by the owners for the 1st week of the pre-season games? I know that the HOF game is canceled.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports a player vote on the owners' proposed global settlement "appears likely" for Friday.
The NFLPA player reps finally received the "finishing points" of the proposal late Thursday night. "All in all, despite the games that were played by the NFL, things look much more optimistic," a players' leadership source said. To reiterate, issues such as player discipline and drug testing cannot be negotiated until the players recerfity. They prefer to do so via signed union cards at NFL facilities whereas owners want it done electronically.

If it drags on into next week, then the NFLPA will feel a lot of backlash from us fans, even more so then they are now.
