2) Because of #1 he doesn't deserve the Hall of Fame (yet).
3) Alex Smith had a higher QB rating than Eli yesterday.

If that's "hating" a player, then I can't imagine how you people would respond to actual...you know...hate.
If only that's how it happened. You said Smith played better than Eli which is nonsense and said that Eli simply sucked while obsessing over two interceptions that should of happened but didn't. Personally, I don't judge a player's entire performance from two throws especially when they attempt over 50. Over 30 completions for 316 yards and no turnovers (even if they should have been) in poor conditions is not sucking to most people.

It's fine that you don't like him, but I love everything he stands for. I find him to be an amazing human being who I love to root for. And please don't judge me as a fan, I love this game with every fiber of my being. Please.
He has lived an easy life compared to most. It's a fact. He scored an abysmal 890 (barely in the 25 percentile) on his SAT and still somehow got into UF. You get a 600 just for getting your name right on that exam. I'm the first in my family to graduate from college, went to public schools my whole life and managed to score nearly 300 points higher than Tebow on my SAT. It always seemed fishy that he managed a 3.5 GPA in grade school despite a horrible SAT score. Then again when it comes to home-schooling I guess you can get away with it. This article has a pretty good summary the mainstream media conveniently likes to ignore when it comes to Tebow.

All the better in my opinion. To be as grounded as he is, and humble is a good thing.

It's especially bad for Peyton Manning for many reasons.

1. He missed a full season due to injury, resulting in Andrew Luck taking his job and probably leaving him without a place on the team.
2. The bad season results in everyone from the GM to head coach getting canned - all of whom were close to Peyton.
3. Super Bowl is in Indianapolis
4. It's either going to be his rival Tom Brady winning his 4th Super Bowl or his younger brother winning his 2nd (compared to Peyton's one ring) in Peyton's own house.

It's really an incredible series of events. One of the un-LUCK-iest seasons for a star play ever.

Not just that if he can even come back, but goes to another team, he'll have zero chemistry a 100% chance a worse line, and a few months to get everyone on his style when he had 10+ years of consistency

A weak line and chemistry issues with said line will probably get him killed in the first few weeks ending his career. If there's no place for him in Indy, he's better off retiring. No reason to risk his neck literally with a new team.

Best QB I've ever seen.

Cam Newton also broke some of Peyton's rookie records

Yeah, I hope he retires. He has done it all. He has nothing to prove and injuries happen.

I'm really not so sure Indy is the best place to be anyway if I'm Manning and wanting to return for another shot at a championship. For example Arizona went 8-8 this season with very mediocre QB's playing in Skelton and Kolb. Colts were 2-14 this year without Manning. In a place like Arizona, among others, he might be able to make a comeback and take his team to the next level like Warner did for the Cardinals a few years ago. Of course it's all speculation and I'm not sure he even plays again.

Kolb was sacked 30 times in only nine games with the Cards and he's more mobile than Peyton.

Manning may not be as mobile as Kolb, but he is obviously better at reading the defense, making adjustments in protection, sensing pressure, and getting the ball out quicker. The biggest problem with Peyton going to another team is new receivers and offensive scheme. I don't think the offensive line would be an issue. Other than Peyton's connection with Jeff Saturday, they have nothing special with that Colts offensive line. It's actually pretty bad.

Agree, also we've seen how ineffective he is when he gets true consistent pressure. Going somewhere like Washington coming of a debatable career ending injury would be equally as silly as trying to play against doctors recommendations.

Oh no doubt. But it’s not a one man game, and if the guys up front are giving him a second or less than he had in Indy that changes the complexion of his abilities dramatically (not even accounting for the injury). You could put a mix of Elway, Manning, Marino, Rodgers, and Brady together, but if you stick him behind Tony Mandarich, Alex Barron, David Baas, Robert Gallery, and Al Johnson (these were all first round/ high second round guys, not that any line would be that bad), and even give him one good player like Joe Thomas, it wouldn't matter.

Super Bowl Prediction

N.Y. Giants-24
New England-20

I was one of the people who said the Giants were nothing like the 2007 squad and didn't have a hope of making it to the big game. Boy, was I WRONG. Kudos to the G-Men for hitting their stride and getting back some injured guys at the right time.
