Yeah, I wonder what his BAC peaked at if he still blew a 0.10 or something at 9am.

Completely agree. All the restrictions make it such a boring game and they don't even try to win until late in the game.

Sure the Pro Bowl isn't as competitive, but all the stars will be there and it's still better than 99% of the other crap on TV.

I mean would you want to see say DHB get hurt since he's such an amazing WR

I bet if they all went full speed and 100% we'd see at least a few minor injuries, then the catastrophic ones that could impact not just careers, but the upcoming seasons.

I have never watched the Pro Bowl, but I might tonight just to see Marshall in action ome more time. I never get tired watching this guy play...

It might be the last time I see Soliai representing the Dolphins though...

Why you shouldn't run fake punts in the Pro Bowl:

Sean Taylor didn't care if it was an exhibition game, he always played at full speed (RIP).

A total of 24 players originally named to the Pro Bowl aren't playing for various reasons. I'd hardly call the leftovers playing in this game "stars."

Good to see the Punter congratulating Taylor on the hit instead of throwing a hissy fit like most athletes do today.

Lmao, are you serious? ... Too bad were stuck watching these "leftovers" who are not stars

On offense... Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Lesean Mccoy, Matt Forte, Greg Jennings, Larry Fitzgerald, Brandon Marshall, Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez, MJD,

On defense... Jared Allen, Justin Smith, Clay Matthews, Patrick Willis, DeMarcus Ware, Charles Woodson, Richard Seymour, Tamba Hali, Von Miller,Ray Lewis,

To name a few i mean, enough said

No need to be an a-hole. Some of these names sound good on paper, but when they're playing at half speed and playing "touch" football it's a little hard to take the game seriously. Most guys are there hang out in Hawaii, nothing more.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Pro_Bowl

Number of alternates selected to the "Pro Bowl" in recent years:

2012 - 26
2011 - 34
2010 - 38
2009 - 39
2008 - 41

But hey, if you like games where 96 points are scored with defenders standing around half the time and barely tackling people this is the game for you. Hell here's Ray Lewis and Peyton Manning regarding the Pro Bowl. They outright admit it's a glorified vacation to Hawaii under the guise of a football game.

Quote:
As Peyton Manning and Ray Lewis casually chatted at their posh oceanside resort, the discussion quickly turned to how much they'll miss Hawaii.

The Pro Bowl is bidding aloha to the islands after Sunday's game following a 30-year run. Next year's Pro Bowl will be played in Miami one week before the Super Bowl. The location after that remains uncertain.

One thing is clear: Many of the NFL's top stars are unsure about the Pro Bowl being shipped to the mainland.

"I just think you take away from everything the Pro Bowl means," Lewis said Tuesday. "I don't understand it all."

The Baltimore Ravens' linebacker, who played college football at the University of Miami, said he would "probably not" play next year's game if selected.

Lewis, who's making his 10th Pro Bowl trip, said many players live in or visit Florida often, so playing there wouldn't necessarily be a reward.

"That's no vacation," Lewis said. "That's what we regularly do. You don't want to go to the Pro Bowl and do what you regularly do. You want to come over and do something different. You want to tour the islands and bring the kids over here to see something different."
So many players threw a hissy fit (many refusing to play) over the Pro Bowl being moved out of Hawaii they had to move it back after just one game being played in the same city as the Super Bowl.

Yet this game still gets better ratings than some WORLD SERIES games. Someone is watching it...(And I'm one of them)
