Yes.

But no Bradshaw (Terry) has x4 he was a #1 pick in 70, and Plunkett has x2, Elway was #1 in 83 he's got x2 and went to 5, Aikman was #1 pick too.

Congrats to the Giants. I knew they were going to win the SB all along once they took out GB.

Well, we start our 6 month stretch with no Football.

Amazing. Remember about how I was laughing at the first score being a safety in the game and saying somebody cashed out big in Vegas? A co-worker of mine went on one of these gambling ships where you can bet on the Super Bowl during the game.

He just sent me a pic of his betting ticket and for one of his bets he put $30 on the first score of the game being a safety. Odds of that happening were about 50-1 so he came away with roughly $1,500. Lucky SOB. He also bet heavy on the Giants winning so no telling how much he came away with in total.

I also like to add. Say what you want about Eli Manning. He'll still get criticized heading into the 2012 season, but I give credit where credit is due and he is one of the best QB's today, and possibly one of the best QB's of all time.

Plunkett not in the hall either. I guess you don't get bonus points for having the added pressure of being a #1 pick. Of course his statline reads like Joe Namath's but without the Namath changing the way future players play the position and the guarantee.

Do you really think Plunkett should be? Even for the age he played in his numbers were not that great. He threw 164 TD, 198 Int, QB Rating 67.5. In the post-season Plunkett has 11 TD, 12 picks. Honestly I think Plunkett was a guess who has good, but just not quite HOF caliber. Though he did have 2 rings and his 1980 post-season was top-notch - especially in the Super Bowl win over Philly where he threw 3 TD's, 0 Int.

I actually do consider Plunkett to have had a slightly better career than Namath though.

Giants do not deserve this win.. Welker, Hernandez, Branch never drop the passes they did when it counts.. Manning was throwing against a high school secondary.. Sucha shame Brady and Kraft deserved this win..

I blame this one on the eagles, one more win vs any1 and they'd be in instead.

I can't stand the Giants, but they did deserve to win. You are right that Brady threw a LOT of great passes that were horribly dropped by usually good receivers, but the scoreboard doesn't lie. The Giants were the better team.

I did feel bad for Mr. Kraft more than anyone else. He tragically lost his wife during the season and suffered a heartbreaking end to a great season. He really seemed alone and visibly emotional in the owner's box after the game ended.

The pre-season crap doesn't count and there are 23 days left in February + the first 6 days of September.

Thumbs up

Madonna sure did a nice half-time show, its almost hard to believe she is already 53! I saw her live at Texas Stadium in 1989 when I was 18 and she was 31. I have always loved her.

That's football. The last time my Jags had a great team was 1999 and had the damn Music City Miracle never happened in that playoffs we probably would have made the Super Bowl that year instead of Tennessee. It's been downhill ever since as MaCruz can tell ya.

Game of inches. That's what's so great about football and why it's my favorite sport by a mile. Now we're stuck with about 7 months of no football.

i still dont think the giants were the better team, even with this win.. an injured gronk had a major effect on the offense and Brady still did all he could.. Welker catchs that open pass and the game is pretty much over.. last possesion, branch catches that 30yd plus and hernandez on the 10 yd drop gives them 40 more yds closer.. the end result wouldnt have been a hailmary which i might add was almost caught! Giants got swept by the Redskins and got embarassed by the Seahawks.. that doenst happen to great teams! once the pats get some CBs and DBs they will be UNSTOPPABLE for years to come.. defense wins superbowls, Kraft and the Pats need to make moves on that side of the ball

I miss Tom Couglin! I can tell you that I was one of the first to say fire Couglin when we started declining several years back. Now look at him. He's a 2-Time Champion.

I really can't say I was ever a Madonna fan. But that being said her halftime show was amazing. The opening with the Roman looking soldiers marching was awesome and she was at the top of her game. It might actually be one of my 5 favorite halftime shows ever.

Best commercial by a mile IMO was the Clint Eastwood Detroit commercial. One of the more moving commercials I've ever seen. Almost brought tears to my eyes.
