McNabb has been playing on some awful teams these past 2 seasons

Will the Patriots get a receiver to stretch the field this offseason? This throwing between the numbers stuff is getting old. Mike Wallace sounds good but his $ might be too high. Patriots don't really shell out money for free agents

McNabb was doing real good in Philly. They were pretty much always in the playoffs, and he had some great numbers. Then he went to Washington with no one to throw to and no run game. Then he went to Minnesota with no one to throw to and a run heavy game. Obviously his numbers are gonna be crap in those places.

I personally like McNabb, and if he has nowhere to go I'd like to see the Ravens sign him to a cheap deal to help mentor Flacco or at least say he's competing for the starting job to light a damn fire under Flacco.

I really wonder how much of McNabb's success was Andy Reid and the Philly offense. Seeing Vick's success there I'm starting to think just about any QB can be plugged into Reid's offense and be successful. Not trying to dump on McNabb who I still consider a marginal HOF QB, but he was in a really good situation with the Eagles.

I know, I wasn't expecting perfection, but when two teams in a row say your being lazy, there might be something to that.

The Packers were going to franchise Finley so now they are free to use the franchise tag on another player, and a lot of people believe they'll franchise Matt Flynn now so they can trade him and get something in return like the Patriots did with Matt Cassel. There would be some risk in franchising Flynn because he would then be due a guaranteed $14.4 million contract and if he couldn't agree to a deal with another team the Packers could be stuck with him, but odds are he'd find a team willing to give him a long-term deal with more guaranteed money.

No way should any team give up anything for Flynn, this was a dick move by the Packers & really unfair for Flynn, it really slows down him signing with any team he wants, it would be funny if he signs his tender and is paid $14M for backing up Rodgers...

Yeah, I don't like the idea of giving him a long term contract, but now if we have to give away a 2nd rounder, it's a big no-no! Manning is looking more and more appealing...

Anyway, I don't think the Packers will franchise him, it's too risky.

Dolphins fans put up billboard for Peyton Manning

Quote:
Miami fans have spoken. They want Peyton Manning. The fan group behind the Manning to Miami website posted a billboard promoting their campaign at the I-95 and I-595 junction in Fort Lauderdale which reads "Manning to Miami.com."

He actually did really well when they brought him up more. His problem again, just can't stay healthy, you can run all the 4.3s and do all the reps in the world but if you can't stay healthy all you are is a golds gym promoter.

The coin tosses occured this morning and the draft order is now official:

Quote:
The Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs won today’s coin tosses at the NFL Scouting Combine, and now the NFL draft order is officially set.

The Dolphins won their coin toss with the Panthers, which means the Dolphins will select eighth and the Panthers will select ninth in the first round. The Chiefs won their coin toss with the Seahawks, which means the Chiefs will select 11th and the Seahawks will select 12th.

To ensure there would be no heads-or-tails controversies, the NFL went all-out and made special coins with the teams’ logos, one with the Dolphins’ logo on one side and the Panthers’ logo on the other, and one with the Chiefs’ logo on one side and the Seahawks’ logo on the other.
