Meh to me Vick is still a bum that folds when the pressure's on because he relies on his legs too much and his head's full of sand. RGIII looks like the real deal but we all know how many real deals have come out of the college ranks just to fall on their faces in the pros. Still 90% sure he's a franchise QB, even if he is a Heisman winner.

It's going to be really fun to watch Luck and Griffin over the years. I think both are going to be studs.

In all seriousness I am fine with this. It just means the season starts one day sooner, although I am not sure if I'll be able to handle watching the Giants banner unveiling.

Yea its a good move as usual by the NFL.

4 years ago when this happened they stayed thursday but moved the kickoff up to 7:00pm but that obviously hurt the rating.

This way they have the nite all to themselves.

I'm really hoping the NFL gives the Raiders a home game for MNF Oct 8th, which would mark the 1 year anniversary of Al's death.. Also I wonder when the compensetory picks will be announced? Raiders could sure use them as were slim pickins on ealy picks this year, i'm thinking we should get at least a late third rounder for losing Nnamdi

Honestly don't see what's wrong with Santana Moss and Jabar Gaffney, besides they also have Fred Davis, really all they need is a #3 speedster, which I think Anthony Armstrong was supposed to be.

None of the free agents are above being shut down either. Even Reggie Wayne who I feel was simply a product of the system and QB. And even if they picked up say Jackson and Garcon, and then traded our future away to take RGIII they've still got massive holes in the line, very little depth if someone goes down, Davis/Williams both one mistake away from a major suspension, because of the drugs.

The new jerseys are scheduled to be released in April. The cheapest version will be $100, up from the $85 Reebok charged for a replica jersey. I also read earlier this week that Nike will for the most part only be selling the jerseys to major retailers that also sell Nike shoes and won't be selling them to smaller retailers.
