Steps in the right direction, Wimbley's contract is next... Hopefully we can create enough room to actually be players in the free agency market... Either way our re-building process will take about 2-3 years, so i'm not holding my breath at anything better than another 8-8 year...

Naw SF wont be in the equation either but thats because Harbaugh has to big of an ego to go after Manning. Harbaugh wants full control of his offense. Got Em!!

Aren't you tired of hearing 2-3 years Nav? As a Browns, Leafs, Jays and Raps fan, I've had it with that horseshit. I'll agree the Silver & Black are moving in the right direction and am convinced that a healthy McFadden next year will equate to a division title. It'll open up your passing game (obviously) and Palmer will excell. But that's a Big if with #20.

Its not going to happen but I would love to have Peyton in Dallas. The guy is a class act in every sense of the word and will be back better then ever. The team that gets him are gonna be lucky sob's. Again just wish it was Dallas that could get him.

Yep...Miami is obviously the heavy favorite. Put in Reggie Wayne next to Brandon Marshall and have the 8th pick in the upcoming draft should help them considerably.

Miami sports is going to be rocking if it happens. You'll have Peyton, Wayne, Marshall and Co. with the Dolphins. You have the Heat with LeBron, Wade and Bosh. And you have the Marlins spending far more money and moving into an amazing new ballpark. Even the Canes seem to be turning a corner with Al Golden moving the team in the right direction.

WOW...what a list, and yes, he can put this team back on the NFL map.

Haha naw man QB is the furthest of Dallas's problems. They already have an elite QB! Dallas needs secondary help & O-line help and they will be just fine. Got Em!!

I still feel a little sad thinking bad to Marino's last year. At the time nobody really thought he'd retire following the 1999 season. Marino's final game was actually the first NFL game I ever went to - the 1999 Divisional Playoff game Miami @ Jacksonville. It was such a bloodbath I don't think Marino even played past the 2nd quarter and the Jags won 62-7. Never did I imagine I was watching the end of Marino's career. He deserved better than to go out like that. He teased signing with the Vikings when Miami cut him loose and I was shocked when he decided to retire.

Then again that 1999 season also happened to be the Jags high-water mark. They lost to Tennessee in the AFC Title Game the next week, which I also attended, and it's been downhill ever since.

Everything I'm reading today indicated Fitzgerald is pushing VERY hard to get Peyton to join the Cards. That would be an amazing duo having Peyton throwing to Fitzgerald.

If I'm Houston I'd push hard for Peyton as well. I believe they'll have a decent amount of money to spare under the cap since they aren't re-signing Mario Williams, among other players. Schaub is ok when healthy but doesn't seem a Super Bowl caliber QB. Peyton to Andre Johnson would be something to see.

Watch Peyton get killed on the first ht of the season after signing a monster contract, the NFL should force this guy to retire 7neck surgeries in 5 years yeah not good. Hes 35 with a ton of wear and tear, this is not the Peyton of 2002.

I remember watching the Jags paste Miami with my dad. We couldn't believe a Marino QB'd and Jimmy Johnson coached team would take this kind of beatdown. Quite a game to have attended.

Yea I been feeling that AZ destination for a while now. Only way he doesnt go is unless he just doesnt want to go to the NFC which would be dumb. I can understand not being in the same division as Eli but not the whole conference. Got Em!!

It would be nice to see Manning in Kansas City. I don't see why the Cards would need another QB.They have Kolb and Skelton. Miami seems to still need work and Bush is to soft.Washington needs a lot of help too. KC has a lot of cap room and if he decides to sign before draft we can draft to our needs. But I'm probably just wishing as I think Pioli still thinks cassel is the next tom brady.

I'm not even sure I'd want him given their ability or lack thereof to give him proper weapons to be successful. Again we all just assume he'll be back to his former self which may not be the case, or he could be Drew Brees 2.0, everyone thinks he's done, and he's back to being a top5 qb.

Peyton Manning's representatives have already been contacted by 12 teams, including the Cardinals, Seahawks, Broncos, Chiefs, Dolphins, Redskins, possibly the Titans and Jets, and 4 unnamed teams. Adam Schefter says Manning wants to have a deal done within the next week. He also says that Manning would prefer to stay in the AFC but would be open to playing in the AFC.

I sincerely hope one of the unnamed teams is Baltimore and they drop that jobber Flacco for Manning. He wants Manning type money anyways, get the better QB for that kind of money.
