Its an awful deal 21 million guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!! I know we've got the funds, but a little discretion! No wonder having the staff bring me a hooters burger from downstairs costs about 40 bucks

Washington gave Garcon >$5 mill per year? He's a decent receiver but don't they know Peyton Manning basically made that guy?

You can't go anywhere in the city without hearing about the Bills. It could be September or March, and it's Bills 24/7. We love our team. Love them!
I went there once before but it was mainly just passing through like 10 years ago. I recall there being some nice places but quite a bit of urban decay.

Serious. This guy broke the news on manning being out for the year as well, and him being cut before anyone.

If you ever go back, check out some of the sports bars if you can. (Especially during football season) That'll give you a taste of the passionate fans in Buffalo.

So the Texans allowed a second, number one overall pick to walk away in free agency. Has this ever happended before?

Given the price tag on Mario Williams they had to let him go. David Carr just flat-out sucked and was a huge bust.

As much as I like the Bears deal for Marshall they have to do something about that O-Line to give Cutler time to actually throw the ball. I'd do something about the O-Line before I'd sign Mario Williams if I'm the Bears.

Yep...among other signings and trades. I also see that the Browns made a formal offer to Matt Flynn.

V-Jax to Bucs

Quote:
Bucs agreed to terms with Vincent Jackson a five-year, $55 million contract, including $26 million guaranteed.

Jackson will earn $26 million over the first two years and $36 million over the first three, topping Santonio Holmes' $24 million guaranteed from last year. The Bucs jumped in feet-first, causing V-Jax's other suitors to fall by the wayside. Jackson will immediately slot in as the No. 1 receiver in Tampa, sending Mike Williams to No. 2 and Arrelious Benn to a situational role. Expect Jackson's fantasy stock to decline with a quarterback downgrade and coach Greg Schiano's traditionally run-heavy offensive attack.

Campbell to Bears

Quote:
Bears ink Jason Campbell to back up Cutler

Bears signed QB Jason Campbell to a one-year contract.

The Bears appear to have learned from the ghosts of Caleb Hanie after the lack of a suitable backup to Jay Cutler doomed their 2011 season. It's a poor landing spot for Campbell from a playing-time perspective, as Cutler had missed just one career start since becoming a starter in 2007 before his freak thumb break last season. He'll likely be paid as one of the league's top backups, however, and will get to test the market again in 2013.

Very nice pickup for a backup QB by Chicago. Guess the contending teams are learning their lessons about having a reliable backup from the past couple seasons.
