I don't know why people think wins and losses are a QB stat. They simply aren't. You can find tons of examples of a QB playing out of their mind good and losing. You can find just as many examples of a QB just flat sucking and the team winning in spite of it.

The truth is Tebow had a hell of a lot of luck. Now perhaps he's blessed and will always have that luck. More likely it'll average out over time. Next time he won't have an opposing running back stupidly run out of bounds, or have his kicker hit a 59 yard field goal.
Sounds like Sanchez with the Jets.

Or the worstest of the wost. A bad quarterback can lose you a game just as quickly as a good one can win it, perhaps even quicker.

Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter
LaRon Landry reached agreement with the Jets on a one-year, $4 million deal.
I would assume Landry is hoping to actually stay healthy for a season and cash in with a long-term deal next year. Landry is a good player but last year he only played 8 games and the year before only played 9 so no team was going to break the bank on him.

Patriots have made some more small moves, reportedly adding Donte Stallworth and Robert Gallery.

With all the WR additions, I'm curious as to where Ochocinco and Deion Branch fit into the equation. Branch is a shell of himself, but is familiar with the system and still made plays last year. Ochocinco was a bust, but his potential is still intriguing to me.

Payton Manning in the afc west... Yay

Too bad he'll never win anything there.. Should signed with the niners who are closest to a super bowl title

No I'd never do that! , I meant that his body is the most advanced specimen ever seen on this earth, and at 15 he's already beating men in the hardest sport ever

Seriously though... Not sure how Peyton will do in Denver, he'll at least have a defense, but between the weather, transitions to a new place, and the more than likely chance they have a S* WR core. It doesn't look nearly as good for him had he gone to SF or even Miami (had they kept Marshall).

Well, even then if you have a really good kicking game and an amazing defense you can still win. Part of the reason I feel Big Ben is somewhat overrated is because I sorta believe that I could have QB'd that team to a Superbowl. And I can't throw.

The Patriots have added a lot of receivers in the last week and there really aren't many spots for them. They'll probably carry 6 receivers, and Welker, Brandon Lloyd, and Matthew Slater are guaranteed spots. I would expect Julian Edelman makes the team as well due to his value on defense/special teams. That leaves 2 spots for Anthony Gonzalez, Chad Ochocinco, Donte Stallworth, and potentially Branch if they re-sign him. In addition I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats draft a receiver in the second or third round because Welker, Lloyd, Ochocinco, Stallworth, and Branch are in their 30s and they could use a younger threat.

What if manning thinks outside the box and goes with # 15.

Huh? You claimed that Peyton Manning to Denver was a done deal, nearly a week ago. Which evidently wasnt the case as he still worked out with SF and met with Tennessee...

Naw man the Niners aint the closest to nuthin. This is a year to year league and weve seen good teams go to bad in one year and vice versa. The Niners do play in a crap division but I dont see them getting as far as they did next year. Got Em!!

Free agent C Jeff Saturday will visit the Broncos, according to NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora.
Rev up the caravan of ex-Colts. In addition to Saturday, LaCanfora reports free agent slot receiver and Denver local Brandon Stokley will likely be signed. It certainly would be no surprise if Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai followed the group West.

Not dissing Driver and the Pack since they're my #1, but I won't be - because I'll be too busy watching who he's dancing with.

I like the moves, more so the Gallery signing today. All signs point to Waters coming back at the moment which would make this line beastly and deep imo.

As for Peyton, i think he could be in for a long season if Denver doesnt make some moves other then Saturday and Clark.
