Johnson was lucky to get bond so quickly. Last night they didn't think he'd be able to get in front of a judge until Monday and that he'd have to spend all day in jail. Regardless, I would assume he's going to have a meeting with top Dolphins brass today and if they aren't happy with his story I wouldn't be surprised if he gets released. He is no longer talented enough to merit the stress he brings.

Well, as we've seen in Hard Knocks, Philbin was not happy even after Johnson's presser where he cursed in every sentence. He said that his behavior could cost him a roster spot even if he performs well. This CondomReceiptGate is pretty much the nail in the coffin.

Cutting Johnson wouldn't hurt the Dolphins financially in any way. His contract included no guaranteed money so if they cut him they'd owe him nothing.

According to Adam Schefter the Patriots are bring Plaxico Burress in for a workout today. I'm a little surprised by this because they already have a surplus of receivers with Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd locks to make the team (as well with Matthew Slater, who is more of a special teams player) and Deion Branch, Donte Stallworth, Julian Edelman, Jabar Gaffney, and Jeremy Ebert battling for 2 or 3 spots. Plax does bring size that none of the Patriots receivers contain but they do have a taller option in tight end Rob Gronkowski.

It does seem a bit strange Johnson has never been in any trouble with the law before. And now he's arrested for domestic battery after barely one month of marriage. And his wife just happens to be the same woman who was with Antoine Walker for 10 years before leaving him when the money dried up. Looking at some of the Youtube clips on her she seems to be a complete head case.
