Why are you worried about Benson? He's was always good in Cincinnati.

Come on Madden! I wanna play some feetball and I'm not going back to 09 either.

Why can't it be the 28th already
Starks was the starter by years end last year. Grant was on his way out most of the season and didn’t do a whole hell of a lot when he was in there.

I’m not worried about Benson….i’m actually excited to see if an actual running back can do something w/the O-line we have. The way I worded my previous post probably could’ve been better. :

Not purely an NFL story, but NBC Sports Network premiered a new show today called The 'Lights. From 7:00 am to 9:00 ET they will be playing a 20 minute loop of just highlights. There will be no analysis or host, just a 20 minute loop of highlights with a narrator. I might have to check this out when football season starts since SportsCenter seems to spend most of their time with analysts discussing games rather than actually showing highlights of games.

Expect the Redskins to make some noise this season with a good QB, they almost won the division last year with no kicker. Iggles are the wild card, they have a lot of talent but also turmoil and I still don't trust Vick in the clutch. Our season is going to come down to how well our new offensive line performs and whether Rob can get our defense to improve with some new talent.

if it is, no big surprise. Packers never pay free agents. ...actually i should say "Ted Thompson doesn't pay free agents any money"

Panthers should be a fun team to watch again. signing Stewart to a 5-year deal was a great move and they have quite the dangerous 3-headed RB monster on top of having Newton and Smith. exciting times in Carolina!

We'll get off to a great start, probably 3-1 or 4-2, then Mr. Glass McFadden will get injured, and our season down the toilet

Just make sure you take him on your fantasy team. Hopefully you will and I will play you when he's hurt.

i used to bash the old silver fox repeatedly for this….but he’s proven to me that he knows what he’s doing.

Draft a player and develop him when u still have your starters and throw them in either when you need them or when they are ready.

RB has been a concern for the Packers since I can remember…..never had a stellar back…..only consistent backs in Dorsey Levens, Ryan Grant, and well, that’s about it.

I wish he’d sign a veteran for LT…..you can’t have a mediocre guy protecting Rodgers blindside like that.

Still looks like they have secondary issues (MC can't be everywhere) same thing the redskins face if that front brings its A game they should be fine, but god help them (and us) if they don't show up.

Marquette King, who was punting for the Raiders last night, should get picked up by a team that needs a good punter. He looked great last night but he obviously has no chance at making the Raiders as Shane Lechler is one of the top punters in the league. He had one very long punt that doesn't show up in his stats because of a running into the kicker penalty and had another punt that should have easily been downed inside the 3 but the punt cover guy made a boneheaded mistake by waiting too long to down it so it resulted in a touchback.

Brandon Carr is a beast too and it sounds like Barry Church should be quite an upgrade over Abram Elam. Our secondary and our linebacker corp are the strength of our defense, we have to hope Lissemore and Crawford will be enough of an upgrade for the defensive line to improve significantly.

So Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie hit Byron Leftwitch (IN THE SHOULDER WITH HIS OWN SHOULDER) and people are saying it was a cheap shot.

I've watched the video multiple times and am no Eagle or Steeler fan, that was a clean hit. He didn't hit the helmet whatsoever, he didn't use his head, he used his shoulder. And most of all, when he was in the air Leftwitch was barely releasing the ball.

It's time to take the QB Tu-tu's off gentlemen. If they don't allow physical contact for defenders might as well just play flag football. (Which would lose basically all ratings)

The problem is that he left his feet and launched himself at Leftwich. The actual contact isn't the problem, the issue is the way he jumped at Leftwich.
