I'm a little surprised the Pats released Ty Warren and have to wonder if he's not fully healthy. Last year they struggled with the pass rush and didn't add anyone that could take Warren's spot. I wonder if fat Albert said he'd be willing to play defensive end in the Pats 3-4 scheme. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring Warren back at a lower salary.

I hope albert doesn't think that since he couldn't get or do what he wanted in Was means he can do it with the Pats. If so then he's in for a rude awakening

I'm glad the Bills were able to sign Brad Smith. Gailey has a knack for getting production out of receivers like him. He'll also help out our return game as I suspect they want to keep Spiller away from kick returning.

Spears is a grinder but I would've preferred Bowen or Jenkins. Spears has hit his ceiling, Jenkins is a proven beast and Bowen is still getting better.

Asomugha's indecision is perplexing. His list of suitors is down to Jets and Cowboys. To me this is a no brainer. Jets. And I say this as a (disgruntled) Cowboys fan. I cringe at the thought of Revis and Asomugha together. I'm crossing all offensive AFC East players off my fantasy football cheat sheet!

Cowboys overpaid to retain Marcus Spears. I'm happy with the O-Line moves (except cutting Davis) and the quick signing of all their rookies.

Possible but he'd have to take a huge paycut from what the Jets & Cowboys are likely offering him.

I read in this very thread that Cowboys and Jets have no cap room.

Since then both teams have made cuts, and restructured a few contracts, so both teams have pleanty of room now

I was just about to post this...

Eagles land Nnamdi Asomugha

Quote:
The Eagles have signed cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the deal is worth $60 million over five years, with $25 million guaranteed.
