The Eagles overpaid for him but I have to admit that they are going to have a very good defense with Cromantie and Nnamdi, I just never thought that Nnamdi would go to the Eagles

So his list of suitors was down too Dallas and New York and he ends up in Philly. The same Philly that just traded for Rodgers-Cromartie.

This is why Arizona should have at least spent SOME time showing interest in Orton. They could have gotten Kolb way cheaper if the Eagles had landed Asomugha before they made their trade. Now AZ is down a good CB and Orton has nowhere to go. He could've been so cheap by now.

Wow Philly just got much better, wonder how Cowboy fans feel right now, knowing they could of got him, but he went a division rival instead..

Philly is stacked at secondary, i wonder if they trade Asante Samuel, and for what

Well for what i heard Asante Contract was for 9 Million, so really for 12 Million a Year their only spending 3 million more for nnamdi. This is along the lines of Patriots Coach Genius.

Eagles came out of nowhere.

And I thought it couldn't feel any worse to be a Cowboys fan. I didn't expect them to land Asomugha but this is worse case scenario. Eagle secondary is legit.

Cam Newton agreed on a 4 year $22 million deal.

Last year Sam Bradford's deal was 6 years $78 million.

Damn... I knew salaries for high picks would drop but that's bigger than I thought. Biggest loser was Jake Locker who probably would have been a top-3 pick in 2010, and instead went back to school, was drafted later in 2011 and will see a huge cut in salary over what he would have gotten last year.

As much as I hate Lane Kiffin as a coach he was exactly right about JaMarcus. Al Davis overruled him on that one and drafted that bum anyway.

Cam Newton's rookie deal has a non guaranteed option of $14 million his fifth year.

Still, the rookie scale is great. If there are more 5th year options that double a players salary then I suspect there will be less holdouts from players who have outperformed their rookie contract. At least we won't see anymore rookie holdouts.

Word is that the Eagles might try to trade Asante Samuel, but could have hard time considering his big contract. Whether he is traded or not, the Eagles are gonna be even more abused than normal in Madden this year. The fastest offense in football just got paired with probably the best secondary in football, not to mention the Jason Babin signing and they already have Trent Cole. The Eagles are gonna be scary good in Madden this year.

Yeah, I have a feeling they are going to keep all 3 of them and make a Super Bowl run now. I don't know how they plan on paying Desean Jackson and Michael Vick though. I can't imagine they have enough cap room to pay 2 of the best at their position right now.

I could easily see a rematch of Super Bowl XXXIX this year. I think that is my preseason prediction unless there is a major injury.

Waiting for the season to start just like every other teams fans are to see what kind of team we have and not anointing other teams in August just because they won the offseason championship. That's how THIS Cowboy fan feels and most fans need to feel.
