LG's 65G6 is actually 54.7 lbs. -Robert *the speaker system actually sits directly below the TV flush to the bottom bezel of the TV. I have an animated gif demo on our site that demonstrates how this ingenious wall mount system works. |

Robert, Do you know the specs on the speaker. Would have been cool if the speaker bar would handle the Dolby Atmos sound since the TV will handle Dolby Vision / HDR content from Vudu... |

Well it actually is a 4.2 audio system, but it's not surround sound as it has no center channel.
So I call it stereo, but that's over simplifying what it really is and they do build-in 4 discrete power amps with 2 sub amps along with a built-in 4.2 speaker system. -Robert |

Any news on these 2016 Oleds inputlag? Hope they are a little better than 2015 sets
![]() Another thing. Wasn't Dolby Vision meant to be the premium HDR with a lot more than 500 nits? Seems strange these Oleds met all demands even if blacks is the easy part. Any specifications out on basic HDR vs Dolby Vision? Only seen the UHD HDR specs with two choices. |

No one will know input lag until the TVs are mass produced and in the hands of reviewers.
Not sure if Dolby Vision is the "premium" HDR format, but it is correct that is does call for the highest peak luminance. I don't think you need 10,000nit or want it in a low ambient viewing. OLED has the distinct advantage in all ambient light conditions of delivering pure black, which makes its peak lumanince value of 600nits have a much higher perceived brightness. So LG's remapping of Dolby Vision HDR's overall contrast ratio to the range the TV can deliver work beautifully with Dolby Vision content. Specs are available for Dolby Vision and HDR10, the SMPTE spec. -Robert |

Bought myself the OLED 55EF950V just 2 weeks ago. Yeah it was pricey @ £2300 but after seeing one on display in a local hifi retailer compared to what else was on display it was definitely worth the extra £££. I'm very impressed with it, even though I haven't really had chance to have a good play with it.
Will probably look at getting it THX calibrated as well very soon to get the best out of it. |
