Ummm I don't know the exact video but I remember the guy mentioning ABT a lot of times. Did a quick youtube search. I think this is the one I was watching last night. I am at work so I don't have sound so I am not 100% sure.

And will color gamut make that much of a difference? Will it be something I regret later on down the road?

I am over 3,000 miles from V.E. and I have purchased three TV's from Robert.

For me, that is the best way to go. Use Robert's QC and Calibration vs Best Buy's employee's calibration

Doubtful you would see it. LG advertised up to 99% of DCI P3 coverage with the G6 and E6 and the B6 and C6 would hit up to 95% according to a German press release due to the different SOC in the display. In reality a SOC has nothing to do with color gamut and they also said the G6 was brighter.

In reality the G6 and E6 are hitting roughly 95% DCI-P3 and rtings.com will be reviewing the C6 in a couple of weeks. My guess is they are identical and set to set variance is going to be the biggest issue.

Thank you for that link. Loving the site so far, never heard of it before.

I guess I'll give it a couple of weeks till more reviews of the C6 come out. But I think I'll be getting the 65' C6 over the 55" E6.

We tested the B6, C6, E6 and G6 at 96% of P3 color gamut.

This Wednesday and Thursday is our 12th annual TV Shootout evaluation event. Hope many Blu-ray.com members can attend in person or view the live webcast.

Robert

I am not an expert in how to get your live webcast and I do not want to miss it.

Could you explain what to do?

All 4 were exactly the same?

Was there any variance in brightness?

@Jim, I'm about to sign our webcasting contract and will likely post the url tomorrow evening on my home page. Once you click on the link the webcast will be live.

@Ray, the B6 is slightly brighter, but we have not tested enough to make a firm commitment on luminance variation between models.
