even if the TV didn't have a soundbar it still looks very different then the C and B. The picture on glass is what makes the TV look better than the C and B. The B and C TVS look like regular TVs, there is no wow factor to them like the higher end models have. Also curve TVs are awful I'm not into gimmicks, I don't like them at all so for ME if I wanted to go for the cheaper route just to own an OLED I would go for the B series which are still good TVs mind you. I find it funny that you're claiming that people won't use or like the sound bar when buying the TV, like you know what these people want, according to you everybody hates the sound bar on the OLED

Most people planning to buy a tv of this caliber use 5.1 or higher...Very rarely buyers who can afford $3000-4000 TV will go cheap with sound

I only use my HT when watching blurays. If I'm watching sports or TV I never turn it on, so for me the sound bar will get plenty of use during TV hours. When I was going back and forth on deciding between the B and E I chose the E because of the look of the TV, its very slick and attractive compared to the other models the B,C look like regular TVs compared to the E,G and that drastically helped in my decision because I wanted something a little nicer looking for my next upgrade. The sound bar grew on me, a few magnolia rooms have it wall mounted and it doesn't take away from the TV for me at all. The only feature that is a waste for me on the E or G is the 3D, Will never use it

To each their own, I prefer the immaculate Oled design without the soundbar giving that "bottom heavy" look to it. By the way, 5.1 is not only suited for blurays, but for sports and daytime TV as well

Pardon my curiosity, but is that an "ECO" choice that you made or you just dont like watching sports in 5.1 with Dollby Surround upmixer?

I just don't like surround sound when watching TV, everything is hooked up to my receiver and ready to go I just never care for it unless I'm watching blurays which in that case always goes on

I use an external Sony soundbar just because it has a sub with it. Although I turn the unit off and use the tv soundbar sometimes when people in my house are asleep. The sub causes way too much vibrations.

And ant, you really gotta try 3D on an oled man. It's amazing.

I guess I am so used to 3 subwoofers that anything less to me sounds to hollow

Me personally, I have never used anything but built in tv speakers (I know, shocking) because well, the sound doesn't really matter that much to me. If it's there I can hear it in a non distorted fashion that's good enough for me. I'd rather spend the money on a better picture then better sound any day. But to each there own.

Leave Standard at your current settings, use HDR Bright mode to try what I am suggesting:
Set gamut on wide, dynamic contrast on medium, sharpness 20, color 45-50 (your choice), TruMotion your choice, everything else at default.
Once you do that, compare to HDR Standard mode.

Question - does the remote for the C6 have a fast forward feature ?

Is there a setting to reduce the sped up fast motion high frame rate look??

Not from the remote, but from the picture settings menu. Find TruMotion and select 0 level or turn it off completeley

Just received my new E6! I am going to be comparing it to my old EF9500 so hopefully I am pleased. So far I just notice a little bit of vignetting in the upper right hand corner of the screen when watching Gotham. I bought the wall mount from LG so I am about to do that now!

Gotham blu or streaming? I've noticed some minor vignetting but only with streaming content.

It is the stream one. Do you think it is the actual stream then? I figured it would be the same as a blu? Vignetting is vignetting, right?

I think the quality makes a difference. As other have mentioned before. Streaming isn't capable of streaming to its full potential due to so many restrictions. See if it looks any better on blu.
