5 Downloads? is that the max per purchase?

I bought maybe 3-4 games that I would like to re download once I buy a slim.

My current PS3 is dead again.

Do we know the success rate of getting a 60Gb model back through Sony Refurb if I send my 60Gb model in? Or is there a chance I'll get a different series?

Furthermore, do these refurb boxes have the same tendencies with YLoD?

Basically debating sending it in for $150 or buying a slim for $300.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing at Best Buy. The link is to estimate how much they'll take it. The "Game has been modified" is what scares me though, that's a deal breaker I think. Since mine has been reflowed by JD Electronics (basically opened), but they did put a sticker that says "Void if Removed" on the old sticker, I'm not sure if they will take mine.

So I was able to manually back up my Save Data and it didn't take that much space at all. Do I also need to back up my Game Data too?

It's my understanding that the game data is just information that can be re-downloaded or re-installed later compared to the save data which are your saves. I won't say 100% sure but that's what I understood from it.

Game data should be anything u've downloaded, but if you gameshare, you want to copy them.

You also want to deactivate your PS3 so you don't lose 1 of ur 5 spots...

I bought a slim, PS3 is getting shipped off tomorrow to get fixed by Sony, or so I hope. Backup for PS3 from July 11th is now getting moved to the other partition on my external hard drive, because when i restored it onto the fat 32 partition, PS3 wouldn't recognize the partition. Hopefully I will have all my stuff back by tomm morning, only thing I'd lose is rock band songs, unless i get my 20gb ps3 fixed from sony, and its the same serial #...

Just called local EBgames

Other than the huge attitude it was informative. haha

60GB model gives you $120 store credit.

You must include:

Power Cord
Video Cables
Controller
USB Charging cable

Question.

Is the power cord suppose to plug all the way in? on my 60gig it doesn't plug in completely, it goes in half way, is this normal?

Depends on the cord. Some have a longer stem.

If it powers it, I wouldn't worry.
