All you have to do was explained earlier, it won't come back, happened the first time right after i updated to 3.1..

Just use the reset button on the back of the controller fixes everything, don't know why everyone is going crazy about this.

No, not yet - I used your guide to take it apart though, good job with the video man

My friend just told me I can have his Blu-ray drive from his old 40GB that died, apparently after downloading firmware 2.60 a long time ago - does anyone know if that firmware caused PS3's to not read discs? And will that drive work do you think?

Probably depends if the update ruined the HDD or the drive right?

From everything that I've heard, that drive would not work because its paired to that motherboard.

Really? But why can you buy blu-ray drives on ebay if it has to fit the motherboard?

It took forever to download the bayonetta demo. Thanks.

Really? Almost 55GB of info taken up?. I didn't install anything. Wow I didn't know I would be losing that much space.

Default Anyone having controller issues?

I've ignored this for a while, but I beginning to think my PS3 is faulty.

Ever since the last FW update, I've been having problems with my controllers. sometimes they just won't sync with the PS3... They'll turn it on, but I have to connect it with the USB cable to navigate the menus... This is only about 10% of the time, but it's with all controllers (including the BD remote).

Well, at least it's not just me. I hope they fix it, because it's pretty frustrating having to walk up to my TV just to navigate the menus, or sit so close to play a game.
