Default Lionsgate seals on Blu

I have to say this, Lionsgate packaging pisses me right off. I recently bought First blood and Descent and both have extremely annoying seals on them. First off, you take the wrapper off. Then for some inexplicable reason you have 3 seals, one on each opening side which are a ***** to get off. Then you notice, the glue that is used stays on the see through plastic of the cover. So that your cover doesn't stick to the one on the shelf next to it and leave marks on that, you have to spend 15 minutes rubbing it off with a solution product of your choice.

Grrr, makes me so mad when they do this. Reminds me of the NTSC U/C PS2 games that took me 15 minutes just to get into, but this is worse. The glue and seals is so over done, surely I am not the only person suffering from this trait.

Comments welcome.

The seals are a pain in the ass for sure. One is more than enough.

Just give me 5 minutes alone with the person who thought of the idea of those security stickers!

Goo gone works pretty well, I will usually just use the sticker and have it pick itself up, after about 5 or 6 times it usually gets all of it. It's sad to have a system for this sort of thing

A lot of the titles had this issue at first and yeah, it was really annoying. After we complained here, Sony stopped doing it. Hopefully everyone will stop doing that soon (if they haven't already). Of course, even if everyone had stopped doing that already and you buy an older title, there's a chance you could get one that still has 3 sides taped up.

Anyway, I still need to get some of the sticky residue off several of mine. Every time I try to pull one of those titles out, it pulls out others with it.
