Guess you're right, but Blu-ray cases are also shorter and the stand looks empty on the sides, by the way Im using my dvd ones too for now.

I am going to order a BD case from that site. Any tips/tricks to getting the BD artwork in the sleeve of the case without damaging it? Seems like a tight fit.

Right now people see 3 basic type cases. Black (nice in the day), Blu, and toilet water brown. Do we really need clear to confuse people? We don't want them potentially confusing it for a new format or (gasp), HD-DUD.

Maybe after the format war is over, but not now. We need to keep blu-cases visible.

The case for the Island (UK import) cracked while it was in the mail. Anyone know where I can get a UK replacement case, or custom cover art to fit a US case??

Actually, it's not tight at all. Just open the case all the way (with its inside facing down) until you see some slack in the sleeve, then just push in the insert with ease. That's all.

Does anyone know why Blu-ray cases are similar to HD-DVD cases??

Even weirder that HD-DVD cases are red. A perfect complimentary color to blue. Why not purple or clear or brown or any other color??

Off topic, I noticed at the place where I buy movies that the Blu-ray section is bigger than the HD-DVD section.

Someone here mentioned the same place makes them. It's easy to see they are identicle except for the logo and color.

Not for nothing, they could have come up with a better red than that. But for blu-ray sake, I am glad they did not.

I need an answer to this question as well. I just bought WORLD TRADE CENTER and the case is damaged. (And I can't return it.)

Yeah, and what math is that genius? Your kind?
33% of 50 is about 16.65 which I rounded up to 17. You add 50 + 17 and you get 67. You need to go back to school bud....

Sleevetown.com is selling 10 cases for like $5.85 + shipping. I think the total is no more than $12. I don't think that's a lot for Blu-ray cases, that's where I bought my batch about 3 months ago.

I disagree, there needs to be a "clear" option... go look at the cases on your PS3 games (if you have any) they are clear, and just a wee bit thicker.

Wow, you must be expecting a lot of store purchased Blu-rays to have broken or cracked cases or have glue residues on them.

Or, you're just buying too many discs without cases.

I placed an order today, but before I did, I skimmed through about half of my collection... out of 40 disks, I found about 15 that were all sticky from glue residue... extropolate that to 30+ needed, so I got a pack of 50 replacements.

The good thing is that from what I have seen, most new releases use the non distructive seals that completely remove without residue.
