We dont really know that yet. But I dont think its sleeves but double disc trays.

Blu-ray discs and DVDs are wider than VHS tapes. A VHS tape is just barely more than 4" wide while disc-based media is approximately 4.75" wide.

VHS packaging ranged from simple sleeves that just covered the tape, to the clear plastic snap cases that you'd see in video stores, to the larger cushiony white plastic cases that had an area surrounding the tape (such as Disney releases) - but even the largest of the plastic cases weren't that much larger than the tape itself.

So by necessity it will larger than a real VHS tape/package.

maybe they should've packaged it like a Betamax cassette.

It says ABC On the disc and On the backcover there is no A logo
This pretty much confirm a international and wide release must be waiting in the wings.

It feels like the large VHS boxes that horror films, and porn, use to be packaged in.

I am not arguing with you. I think it is crazy that a company wouldn't want FREE publicity like we, and other forums and social media, provide weekly. Just doesn't make sense for the team members to NOT take pics of upcoming releases to drum up excitement.

When season 2 is coming out on Blu-Ray i really hope they will right away release it wide and international. This show is a huge phenomenon close to even Game of Thrones. The demand here is huge even limited to only target. Releasing it wide to all would make them way more money. Since now it is only limited to one place.

It looks like the whole front of the 'vhs' is one big piece, so hopefully that just lifts up and each disc is in a tray, or even if they're the kind where it's 2 discs but the one on the bottom is slightly higher than the one on the top or something... I just hate digipaks with the little slots to slide the disc in and out that always get glue on my discs lol

As discussed earlier in the thread, the point of a good OP, with a FAQ or similar, is to give any info (or lack of info in this case) that's available, to cut down on people asking the same questions over and over again. Which has been happening repeatedly in this thread.

Or is this a timed exclusive? (US Targets get it first, followed by standard Blu-ray wide release)?

This show was MADE for UHD.

Yes I will wait for the UHD. It's still on Netflix if I wanna restream 1080p.
