We're going to find this out in about a year when Disney opens up their own streaming service. Speculation is that the Marvel original series will be moved to the new service and future releases will go there.

Daredevil S1 on Blu-ray is already going for a good amount if it is the U.S. release with slipcover. Best to stock up now if you ask me.

Yet, I don't know if the majority of people realize that yet. People seem to be putting too much faith in the content holders to continue providing that content. If net neutrality goes, can everyone continue to afford the status quo? At least for myself, I lived a wonderful life before the internet became the "thing". So, if I have to give it up at some point in the future then I will be fine.

Why did the 4K thread close? Either way, I hope everyone got Stranger Things on blu-ray/4K - $10 is a great deal, but it looks like some of my Targets will have plenty leftover.

You guy might want to scramble over to your local Target, they're almost sold out of Stranger Things blu-rays!

That'd odd, since it hasn't even came out yet.

Cover is way better on the regular. Even at $25 or so it still too expensive for the 4k. Betting it drops to $20 in 6 months or whenever season two comes out on BD.

It is crazy how slow this title is moving even at $10. My store has close to 400 copies still in the stockroom. This does not look good for a season 2 physical release..

I got it on BF. Maybe three quarters of the stock out was gone. I mainly got it because it looks retro and was just ten bucks.

Got the 4K version set up for in-store pick-up tomorrow alongside Valerian 4K and The Hitman's Bodyguard 4K.

All my local stores say limited stock. Not sure how accurate that is. I do imagine they printed boatloads of these though, so I think it's probably selling fine.

I’m sure most People already bought it when it was first released, no point in double dipping.

The fact that it is on Netflix deters a lot of people from buying it. I actually heard a woman and her daughter/friend going through all of the Black Friday titles and general movies at Target this weekend and saying "oh this is on Netflix", "this one isn't" and only buying the titles that weren't on Netflix.

Most people already bought this release when it first came out too. I'd be surprised if the price on the set didn't get back to $10 or lower due to how many they produced. They'll never sell through stock of hundreds per store.

That, and maybe the general public think it really is a VHS.

I was wondering about that! I'd love to know a true % of people that actually thought it was!

Well considering there was no promotion for the Blu-ray release and it being exclusive to only one store, a lot of people probably don't think it's out yet. I'm pretty sure the next season won't be a Target Exclusive.

When I was in on Friday looking for a copy of the 4K I heard several people wondering about that, one of whom I corrected because she was so confused and adamant it was an actual VHS tape.

I love this release but for the general public they need more obvious promotion and clarification. I feel target really kinda screwed this release up a bit between that and pricing and early release issues.
