It charted pretty high the first week after it was released, so I think it did initially sell a lot. That it's not selling a ton year-round is hardly surprising, almost anything popular falls off the charts after a couple weeks.

That’s what I’m afraid of... But I’m happy to purchase the physical media and give them money for something I can own, rather then just paying to stream their shit.

The decision makers at Netflix are foolish for having made this a Target exclusive and they were especially foolishly for not making this available for purchase elsewhere after a period of time. Target's Blu-ray sales numbers for this or any other title shouldn't be used as a barometer for what demand there may or may not be.

I think this is what's going to happen. If my memory serves season 1 was released a few weeks before season 2, so it would make sense they will hold on to season 2 until a few weeks before season 3. It would be a marketing initiative for people who don't have netflix to sign up for a month and watch season 3, while season 2 is still fresh in their heads.

I thought the same thing a few weeks ago. Lots of copies in my Target stores. Bad idea selling only through Target.

My Targets have a few copies, but maybe they expected them to last this long. Really wish they put out a standard version at other retailers, but I'm happy with my copy. Can't believe I went out of my way to get one on Day 1 though when I didn't need to.

If Target doesn't put out Season 2 this October, I will assume it's coming when Season 3 comes out.

I've bought two copies of this now, and both had a brown smudge or flaw of some sort on the second Blu-ray disc that prevented at least one episode from playing.

Anyone else have similar issues? I'm gonna just keep returning 'em until I find a decent one, I guess.

Season 2 Blu-Ray should not be exclusive to one store, it should be an official release to all stores and online shops. Still weird as hell this show s1 has not been released overseas yet.

Pretty soon Target will be giving away a free copy with every purchase.

I hope they do release season 2 but I agree it shouldn’t only be a Target exclusive. Especially since they’re currently filming season 3 now.

Down to $10 at the closest for me and $7 at the second closest. I bought it when it came out though. If the 4K had came out on the same day I'd have just got it instead, so if 4K release ever hits $15 or less, I'll get that one.

If it comes out, it'll be probably the same month s3 goes up. I don't see it being a general release unless s1 also goes wide at the same time or before s2 is released... but Target probably learned from their mistake that not every household in the US is going to be getting 1 or multiple copies to warrant such a large pressing.

S2 Blu-Ray should be released right in time for s3. This time They need to make it wide for all retail stores and online shops. Like any regular official release.

If it still turns out to be a Target exclusive I’ll still purchase, just hope Target gets smart & limits the amount produced this time.

Why should they limit the amount? So you lot can buy multiple copies and sell them on? Target isn't playing your game. They're making plenty for the GENERAL PUBLIC to buy, the diehard collectors that buy everything in sight just for the sake of having them.
