I don't have internet access at home, so no streaming for me.
Besides to watch everything on streaming is way more expensive than cable ever was.
Netflix, Hulu, HBO, starz, CBS, disney, Warner all have their own services. It's ridiculous.

I'll stick with physical!

I prefer to experience content for the first time on Blu-ray if possible as will be the case here with Season 2 and I have Netflix disc rental and streaming subscriptions. I don’t care if something is offered on streaming first. If a Blu-ray release is a possibility I‘ll wait.

Stranger Things Season1 Collector's Edition Target Exclusive Blu-Ray/DVD combo is $6 at Target until Saturday. Nice deal.

Season 2 $19.99 for Blu and 24.99 for 4K.

I bought the blu-ray/dvd combo as a present for a gift exchange for my work's holiday party(there was a limit of $10 for gifts). When my co-worker chose the gift then opened it, people laughed because they thought it was an actual vhs. Then when my co-worker read that it was blu-ray/dvd and my other co-workers were like that couldn't be $10 so I showed them the price on Target(doh missed I out on the $6 price of a few weeks ago). I then explained to some that never watched the show that it is set in the 80s and hence the retro vhs packaging and they were like thats pretty cool.

I know I'll be infuriated if they leave us hanging with no Blu releases for the last two (or whatever) seasons. Don't Fargo us...!

I just Season 2 in 4K. Have the standard of both and 4K of season 1.

Hopefully Target signed a multi season deal, because if they didn’t and as fast as prices on these dropped doesn’t bode well at all.
Since this was Netflix streaming and no other OTA/cable option, a physical release is the only other viewing option. Which would seem to help the cause.

Season 2 hasn't had a very steep drop yet though. It got that Cartwheel promotion but that's not as bad as season 1's drop.

S2 BD for $5 and 4K for $10 even if it take a 50% Cartwheel to get there -- seems to be pretty extreme.

No need to worry about not getting Blu-ray releases for the next seasons of the show. We still got a season 2 Blu-ray/4K release even though the first season dropped considerably in price.
