It'll either be the summer or closer to when season 4 starts. Season 1 came out on BD close to season 2's Netflix release, but season 2 came out on BD a year after Netflix so there's no real pattern.

Well, the Target listings for these are removed...........Guess Season 3 won't get a Blu-Ray release in the future.

Maybe a new set is coming with all three Seasons in time for Halloween and they will want people to buy those? Just being optimistic.

Pretty sure they've been off their site for ages now as they're OOP. Don't think it's an indication of anything one way or the other.

I actually saw a copy of Stranger Things Season 2 at Target on Tuesday.

I was curious how much it was but the price scanner said item not found.

If you are interested in it, you could probably get them to ring it up for barely anything. It's out of their system now as it's OOP. I've had times when that has happened with an item there, and the cashiers ask me if I'd want it for a low amount, and they just manually enter it.

One of my all time pet peeves in film collecting is when a series stops partway through.

I already have it so I didn't bother.

This store has the new tiny movie section and then in the back of electronics there was an end cap piled full of anything and everything movies.

This was the first store that I saw that remodelled, starting way back in the end of 2017, so it's not like those movies were leftover from a recent reduction.

I’m hoping Season 3 will come out around when Season 4 is finally on Netflix. It would suck royally for these to be discontinued.

I remember getting Season 2 through Target’s weird Cyber Monday sale. I was physically in the store, and I noticed it on the shelf at full price. An associate told me I had to purchase it online to get the CM price. So I placed my order online on my phone while standing there in the store, walked out to my car, waited 3 mins for the pickup notification email, and walked right back in to pick it up at customer service. Really bizarre.

This doesn't help. Walmart isn't exactly disc friendly any more either.

A few years ago Walmart really bit into the home media collector's market. Steelbooks and gift sets galore. I could have seen them doing something like the Stranger Things sets then.
Not now though.

I haven't even seen season three yet. I figured I'd just wait and watch it on Blu-ray. May never bother pass season two now.

Season 3 was my favorite of the seasons by far. I'm going to be really disappointed if it never gets a Blu-ray release.

They had a couple of exclusive steelbooks and film collections in the past. At the very least, we could except re-issues of Seasons 1 and 2.

My local Walmarts have much better Blu-ray selections than the Targets. I even got a bunch of Scream Factory releases there last year for cheap.

My local WM is terrible, barely has any discs and what's there is mostly 95% DVD and 5% BD and 0% 4K. The only 4K they seem to have is the newest releases, and it takes 1-2 weeks for them to even get those, and they only get 3-5 and then whatever isn't sold mysteriously disappears.

There's more WM than Targets close by so I could at least have more chances to get them if they were at WM. But I don't see WM having exclusive releases, exclusives versions maybe but not the only place you can buy it in general.

Walmart has their Stranger Things exclusives up, including some cassette tapes (but not a darn single piece of modern media).
