Well, if you were really that OCD the missing slipcover on the second Sherlock Holmes movie would have done you in already

The 4K stream doesn't even have HDR.

Apples to apples comparison, I'd agree. But a stream and a physical copy isn't an apples to apples comparison. There are other factors than resolution to consider.

I almost never buy TV shows on disc (Game of Thrones and Firefly the only exception), but I am really tempted to get this, simply for the box. But I probably won't, just because I can watch it on Netflix at any time, and Netflix actually has the 4K version which I would want as my goto someday.

It's like a giant zit...just sticks out there. The eighties were my school years so I guess this would be reminiscent of that horrid awkward time. LOL

Was going to check the 4K streaming but you have to pay extra for UHD on Netflix, no thanks. But trust me when I say the BD's look incredible.

Does anyone have any actual VHS tapes lying around they can lean this one against for size comparison? Very curious if it's taller than a VHS tape, since we know it's wider.

Every 20 mins I ignored my alarm and just peeped this forum to allow me to get more than 2 hours of sleep this morning. Then I crawled out of bed and went Target and nearly had a heart attack... but they have more in the back. Apparently they have a Best Buy-like attitude about restocking the most popular item in their department today.

Oh yes, I remember the clamshell ones too! But ones with the slide open bottom were never this large I don't think?

The alphabetised shelf would drive me crazy. I understand many people do alphabetise their colllection but it just looks so untidy and it makes my OCD crazy haha! Having all slipcovered movies together and organised by the studio looks so much nicer in my opinion.

At four nearly one hour episodes per disc, you aren't going to get the highest picture quality possible anyway. If they had crammed extras on top of that it would be bitrates in the single digits.

You have OCD and your blu-rays aren't in alphabetical order?

Or do you think that they are trying to prevent someone from sticking that thing in to an actual VCR?
