Love the show and the set, but damn the trailers! What was Netflix thinking?! Three out of five stars for that faux pas.

You'll get over it. Disc 2 does not have that problem.

I went ahead and picked it up, because of the pics of the packaging, on this thread. It IS a beautiful release. The whole old VHS look is on point!

I liked the show, but I didn't love it. Basically a rip off of It, The Monster Squad and Stand By Me. Really hoping that season two is way better. Can't wait for Netflix to release it.

No doubt the show has homages to so many many many many movies but it’s all in good fun.

I didn’t think it was great I thought it was well done. Enough to want to revisit it in better streaming quality. My connection to Netflix is good sometimes bad and I really wanted HD quality audio and image. (I’m not 4K yet) I only watched first 15 mins of Ep1 and loved being able to see and hear it he best way possible (for standard HD.)

Don't think I have yet to print any cover art out myself. All my Blu-ray's are stored for playback in Sony 400-disc Blu-ray players. I keep the empty cases in storage so never had the need. I won't be putting the retail packaging for this release in storage though. Not one for having things out on display, but I'll be making an exception in this case.

My use of cover art is limited to the digital realm. I use the front and back portions with DVD Profiler and My Movies. Decided with this release to take matters into my own hands and work up some Blu-ray cover art myself. Don't even need the spine, but figured I'd give it a shot per making the cover art available for those that might like to actually download and print it out for use with an actual Blu-ray case.

It fits 3173x1762 (127 spine) (Europe Standard) Vortex Blu-ray Disc Cases, 11mm spine. Also, I do still plan to post download links this evening to the full size images. Will be uploading the files to my FTP when I get home in a hour or two. Stay tuned.

Lots of people in this thread commented on all the different aspects of the release... You don't have to read the whole thing, but if you flip through a bunch of pages you'll get the general impression pretty quickly. Who writes the site reviews for this site anyway? Here's my review: It's awesome, buy it

If you have any questions about the release, folks will surely be happy to answer them.

Same here, just a later in the morning. Looking forward to this as I've only seen it once when it first came out...glad I held off for a blu-ray experience.

I still haven't seen it! I kept meaning to check it out, just never got around to it. I have too many unwatched Blu-ray's to watch before I check out anything digital. I know I'll love it though. It seems right up my alley

Finally made time to watch some episodes tonight. Saw the first two. I think I've only binged the series the one time on Netflix, so this is my second pass at the episodes. It's really fun to see it again and remember things. And yeah, thanks for all the posts about the trailers on auto-play at the beginning. I couldn't get out of it either, so I just muted it and cleaned up around my kitchen sink until they were over.

Also, because of the VHS packaging, I was really hoping the main menu would have some banding like you'd see watching a worn out video tape. Alas, no...missed opportunity. LOL

Holy crap I loved Stay Tuned, I don’t even think it got a DVD release, so good luck on it ever getting a blu ray release, unless a company like Shout got a hold of the rights.
