I'd say it'll be announced around the release of the new movie. These new UHD discs are coming out in Jan 2022.

I heard some of the deleted scenes were actually not only pretty good. but one should never have been cut and that was the whole ray getting possessed being cut causes some issues in the final cut.

Triple dipping on the UHDs for me. Got the Ghostbusters single release, then the Steel, and now this one.

And it’ll be like… septuple dipping for the movie across the formats; the collector’s edition DVD, that two-pack DVD, the original Blu-ray, all those UHDs lol. (I don’t keep all of them though, I sell off what becomes “non-essential”).

The longer the 2016 version is out of public circulation the better. Not because it has a female cast, but purely because it was such an insultingly lousy movie and a stain on the franchise. I like the individual actresses, but with this painful script and messy direction...

Dolby Vision (probably MEL), yes. OG audio, unknown.

PS: I have multiple box sets where I don't watch such-or-such movie. They don't magically get out and into the player by themselves.
