Anyhow I certainly do hope it is a full sized book and would better justify the price but it maybe best to keep lowered expectations on that front until that point is clarified.
I don't know how big was the original book and if it can fit into the trap-box. I hope so, since I really want it

I know I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed the theatrical cut of the 3rd film, and there's really no excuse not to have it in this set in physical form, especially if you're advertising this as the ULTIMATE collection. Feig has every right to be peeved at that decision, and giving a digital copy is almost MORE insulting. Most all of us here buy physical media, BECAUSE WE WANT PHYSICAL MEDIA. Not a digital code.

To be fair, I don't really see the point in having separate "Alternate TV Version Takes" when we're getting the full TV broadcast versions of each film. I suspect the photo galleries for part II are actually included, they're just not listed separately in the info for the upcoming set.

The only two things that seem to be more certain omissions at this point are the “Tricks and Trivia” Text Commentary and "The Real Ghostbusters - Pitch Concept Pilot" - A Fan Restoration by Robert Barbieri, but it could just be that they were mistakenly not listed with the info and they're actually included with the upcoming set.

it's not in the same universe of the others. I don't see any scandal and I enjoyed it too

I think the same thing let's see. I have to wait a lot, in Italy the release is set to June I don't know why

So you feel an ULTIMATE COLLECTION, that is a physical media collection, should consciously ignore a physical copy of the 3rd film in the series for no apparent reason? But include the 4th one?

I’m guessing the trivia track will be on there because there’s no reason to redo the 1&2 Blu-ray Discs.

Turbine released it. I believe it’s region-free and the episodes are in English, although the packaging and menus are in German as far as I know.

Last I checked it was out of print or at least out of stock everywhere. I actually own the Time Life version so it’s of little value to me and I haven’t looked into it’s availability in a while.

I'm going to pass on this boxset because, I already have the previous 4K UHD releases of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 and besides, I can do without all of those extras because I never watch them.

Well, if the pictures are correct, it is indeed tiny. I mean 7.5" x 5.4"? That's a far cry from the original 11" x 8.5". It's a reprint, alright. A scaled down reprint. Temper your expectations, here.

Probably the best you’ll ever see is an SD-on-Blu ray release. You can get one from Germany but hopefully US companies will become less-reluctant to do SD-on-Blu ray with DiscoTek doing them and hopefully Sony is willing to license it.
Typo sd on blu ray fixed it for you. I wish they could do something to fix it up to look better than dvd when it comes to saturation etc.

Yeah but it’s slightly upgrade it uses Dolby vision 100gb discs and the original theatrical audio tracks.

Those extras make it very tempting. Is this a limited release?

Before I order is there anything negative about DeepDiscount anyone has seen? Good shipping? Do they ship items when they are available or all together once the last item hits release date like DiabolikDVD?

That's it though, it not in the series, it was it's own thing. Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2 and Ghostbusters: Afterlife are a series that have their own continuity.

If this was 2005 and they were putting out a Batman 89 and it's sequels box set, I wouldn't be too upset if Batman Begins was left off the slate.

Plus studios don't actually know what the word "Ultimate" means.

And with respect to Ghostbusters 2016, most of us have 2-3 copies of that picture in our collection and they're not going to spend anymore on what were decent releases. There's some new neat stuff here celebrating Ghostbusters '84 and beyond.

I'd legit buy GB2016 again if they put the theatrical cut + DV on a UHD.

It's $150, not £150, which works out to around £110.

Without shipping that is.
