It's a shame half of those movies listed never got any special edition releases on any format. They were all hits and Ivan Reitman never shied away from doing interviews or audio commentaries.

Anyone has a picture of the back of the UK Ultimate Edition? Sony stopped releasing physical media in my country so I'm trying to figure out if the UK edition has Dutch subs on both the 4K discs and the remastered blurays in this set...

Called Amazon and actually talked to someone.
They said the same shit.
Asked for supervisor, they said they are the highest they can be escalated to and that it needs to be returned.
They both said they cannot give a reason for why they can't give a partial refund or credit other than that is is returnable.
They said to order it again I said it was out of stock and no longer available.
He said to go to a store to buy it.
I lost it at that point and cursed him and hung up.

By chance do you have a high-ish history or returns, or have you requested many partial refunds in the past? Sometimes, you can make it on a list and they are less helpful. If not, sounds like some csr in India you interacted with didn’t like the cut of your jib and put a note on your account.

Smallville was opened and missing disks and codes
Battlestar was the wrong set
Think there was another damaged item
One or two lost in shipping.

Most are Amazon's own fault!

That could be it. They don’t assess the merits of a return or complaint - valid returns/refunds are no different than whimsical returns/refunds. They just count them in a ratio against your purchases over a period of time.

I finally received my 4K Ultimate Collection from Amazon today (ordered on 1/2/22).

I must say that I am impressed! The set was packed in a strong cardboard box with sealed air packing material. No damage to the ghost trap package, and all of the correct discs were present and accounted for.

After receiving a couple of "preparing for shipment" statements only to be followed again by "order received" statements over the past two weeks, I was overjoyed when I finally saw an "order shipped" statement with an actual tracking number and shipping history showing that it was indeed on its way.

My wife is happy now as well and we are preparing to watch the special features discs tonight. It is a shame now with Ivan Reitman gone, it won't be quite the same watching the set and thinking of him in the past tense.
