I’m in the same boat with DD. I hope they actually got stock of this but, then again, the last time I ordered from them it took a while to ship my pre-order. I got it after the street date naturally. As long as I get it and they don’t cancel the order or something, I’ll be happy.

I agree, it's unfair this different kind of threatment for the european users. I was already excited to see those slipcovers, but i had to turn off my enthusiasm.

Shame about the lights and the slips. As a previous post asked, does the uk set have the new 4k and blurays with Dolbyvision and theatrical stereo? A image of the back would be appreciated. Thank-you.

Wish I knew exactly what that means. Did they make it to my house and give up? I was puttering about my house at 8:00 and I didn't see anything on the streets but the occasional plow. And the way the wind is blowing, there really wasn't that much snow on my walkway (now its piling up real good). From past experiences, packages like this usually come on a special truck, not with my usual mailman; I'm guessing the truck started the route but encountered whiteout conditions and probably some closed local roads, and gave up, or was ordered to give up.

I'm not complaining, just commenting; it's only some movies and swag, I'll survive, no reason for anyone to be out in this weather to deliver such a frivolous item.

Yes the UK cases say Dolby Vision and it lists Stereo DTS-HD Master Audio on the back, so they are the new discs.

Without quoting anyone, here’s my 2 cents that no one asked for.

My order was $95 shipped…about 31 and change per film; 2 of which I already own. That simple breakdown would make me a little uneasy about this purchase, but then throw in that for the films themselves I can enjoy them in Dolby vision with original audio. Now throw in I can watch the remaining (hopefully all of) cut footage from GB2. We get raw dailies from part 1…a whole unseen cut of part 1…along with all this other stuff not seen on other releases. Despite having a PDF version of Making Ghostbusters I am VERY excited to have a physical version of this wonderful book.

The shell these all come in is just whatever for me. Though those slips are purty. If a cheaper version ever releases with all these extras, I’ll just shrug and go “already watched this through and through, but happy for those who still need.”

Thankyou. Was concerned because we never got the 2019 discs. So aside from the lights and slips its same as u.s set.

Mine just arrived. Lights are not working no matter what I try. I can hear something (sounds like a battery?) rattling around inside.
It appears to have a light sensor on the bottom left. I’m guessing that is what is supposed to trigger the light to come on.

One of the first unboxing videos here showed the guy having issues with the light. He could not get it to turn on again. They are never meant to last unfortunately but they should work for a little while at least. Cheap components and probably glue holding the battery.
