i like to get an idea of how this differs from the 4k mastered release. that's why i want comparisons is there any images if not will there be?

What people don't realize is that grain management is done on most titles out there. How well they do it is another thing. The worst titles use a blanket setting with no regard to picture detail degradation. But the best looking titles out there have sharpness and colors and grain tweaked constantly, on a scene by scene & shot by shot basis.

You can edit a screenshot, and a direct capture shot can be done incorrectly
It's an exact science and needs to be done right

This GB I and II is up for pre-order on Zavvi for a 27th June release date! .. on Ultra HD DVD ... is this a rival format for UHD Blu-ray? lol

Obviously HDR is going to be difficult to capture, but I'd just like to see the detail differences with 4K vs the Mi4K 1080p blu-ray.

What you really want is the Atmos track. But only the UHD Blu-ray has it.
