Ghostbusters 4K UHD (1984)

Mine arrived in a big padded mailer from Amazon with a nice big ding on the top corner front. Was gonna try and exchange it but it’s sold out everywhere, so guess it’s mine.

Modern times can eat a dick.

Mine just got delivered and it's shockingly mint. Amazon shipped it in a plastic bag. Not your typical padded envelope. No. A f*cking thin ass plastic bag. Like they put it in a Ziploc bag and shipped it. No damage at all but good Lord this is actually the worst Amazon packaging I've ever encountered. Can't imagine the amount of returns they must be getting shipping them like this.

But anyway, really cool set. All the discs are there, and I love how the thing lights up. Really cool touch. Sony's done it again. Gonna dig into them in the next couple days during the massive snowstorm we're expected to get.

Just got mine in probably the same brown padded mailer from an Amazon driver. Luckily in mint condition. I checked my Ring camera and saw the driver nicely put it down on my steps. I'm guessing if you get a crappy driver who tosses the package you're screwed.

Pretty much all releases with a book are limited. The book won't be re-printed the same way discs are replicated.

that the GHOSTBUSTERS ULTIMATE EDITION was a limited #4K #UltraHD that sold out fast. However, there’s a huge outcry from fans who missed out, so hopefully Sony will make more.

The book is actually pretty hefty, it has some good weight to it and the printing quality is top notch. This set was def worth $100.

My copy from Walmart arrived in a box. I can't imagine this thing withstanding an envelope - you got lucky.

Cool set but WAY smaller than it looked in the photos. It's only slightly larger than the Blind Dead coffin set from Blue Underground. I was expecting something tall and heavy.

Some people who didn't buy this set would love a comparison on Dolby Vision vs previous HDR10 but of course shipping couriers and slipcovers are more important than actual content review/feedback.

I was shocked, but mine arrived from Amazon.ca today, and they had originally given me a date for Feb. 8th a few days back. It came in a Hotel Transylvania decorated box that almost seems custom made for the set. It fit absolutely perfectly inside. I guess the delivery driver treated it extra nice, because it's in mint condition. I usually have difficulty with bigger sets from Amazon, so this was a nice surprise. I think I went through 3 or even 4 Batman: The Animated Series collectors sets because despite their promise, Amazon kept shipping them in a big envelope that wasn't even padded. Each time (except the last) they came totally crushed.

Just curious if the individual disc sleeves are bilingual if you ordered it from Amazon.ca. I ordered mine from Bestbuy.ca and hasn't arrived yet.Thanks

Nothing in the set is bilingual except for the J card overtop.

Yeah I couldn't believe it. And hearing that other people on Amazon.ca had this sent to them in a box is honestly pissing me off. I was expecting the same and they just tossed this $100 set into a bag and called it a day. Luckily no damage but Jesus Christ have some consistency.

Mine literally came in a poly bag with a nice big tear in one of the flaps of the proton back. Amazon strikes again. In the same boat as everyone else trying to get a replacment but sold out.

100000% this. Do we even know definitively what’s on the special features discs? And is there a commentary on GB II like the last limited set?
