WHOA. When I sent back my Afterlife 4K disc from the Ultimate Collection today to Amazon via the UPS store because there were scratches on it, Amazon refunded the ENTIRE amount ($107) of the Ultimate Collection to an Amazon e-gift card. Did not expect that lol. I thought they were just going to refund only enough money to cover the cost of the Afterlife 4K Blu-ray ($30). I ain't complainin.

Ummm, they are likely expecting to receive the whole set with your return. Never heard of just sending back a “piece” of a set.

Clearly I am not with it anymore with lingo, can someone please explain "tat" to me? Obviously I understand it in the context of the packaging for this set, but why the word "tat"? Thank you

Have a bad feeling that Amazon was expecting you to send the entire set back. They have never (in my experience) replaced a portion of a set. Great for you if they did. Hopefully they will send you a separate Afterlife disc. Typically if you do a UPS drop off you get an quick turnaround on credit. They assume that you have dropped off the original contents of the shipment. You may see an adjustment on that credit after they receive a single disc

Thank you all for the heads up. After reading what you guys said, I talked to Amazon just now via Amazon chat and I made absolute sure that they did not need the entire Ultimate Collection, and they said everything was OK and that the whole $107 refund amount is mine to keep. Whew.

Happy to report my set came shipped in a box from best buy, one of the plastic flaps was bent inward under the shrinkwrap and that was the only "damage" on the set. I have all correct discs and only the ghostbusters blu was loose so when I opened the ghostbusters case it slid on top of the 4k disc.

Wait, what? If you actually have the set then why don't you post your own thoughts on it instead of endlessly b!tching that the thread is nothing but shipping updates? i spoke on the phone to them and there was no haggling the cs rep, agreed with me right away. but the thing that shocked me like i said above she said it would be a partial refund of $70 but the email a few hours later was for the full amount, and that posted to my bank today.

So is adding the correct 2022 releases of GHOSTBUSTERS 1 & II from the Ultimate Collection to the sites database, but that's completely not worthwhile to you.

You let everyone know you received your Afterlife disc on 1/28. Guess how many posts you've made after 1/28 discussing the disc, A/V quality.... you know, the type of discussion you want to dominate these threads? That would be zero.

Maybe you aren't realizing it - click your ID and choose "Find more posts by...". Just skim through the first page of results. That's your contribution to these threads. Personally, I'd rather read about slipcovers and shipping stories.
